Really, Chris Brown? You're going to mess with Oprah? How dumb can you really be?

The singer told People.com that he didn't appreciate the fact that Oprah, motivated by the incident in which he beat up Rihanna, put on a show about domestic abuse.

"I commend Oprah on being like, 'This is a problem,' but it was a slap in my face," he said.

Ugh. Terrible choice of words, Chris.

"I did a lot of stuff for her, like going to Africa and performing for her school. She could have been more helpful, like, 'OK, I'm going to help both of these people out.' "

Oh, so because you did a few good things, Oprah (and the rest of the world) should overlook the fact that you put your hands on this young girl and almost killed her.

Not a chance. And Oprah wasn't about to let Chris' comments to the magazine go untouched.

"Oprah is very appreciative that Chris Brown performed at her school, but she takes domestic abuse very seriously," a rep for the Queen told E! News.

"She hopes he gets the counseling he needs."

And we hope he learns to shut his mouth.

Do you think Chris was way out of line? Or should Oprah have been a little more impartial?

rimescibrianus1.jpgUs Weekly has the latest dirt on the LeAnn Rimes/Eddie Cibrian cheating scandal, which has the jilted exes of the former undercover lovers leaning on each other for support!

Yes, Eddie's ex, Brandi Glanville, and LeAnn's husband, Dean Sheremet are hanging out and drying each other's tears, so to speak.

"They have been supporting each other," an insider told the mag.

Dean and Brandi met last year when both were up in Calgary visiting their spouses on the set of their TV movie. They didn't know then, but that's when the affair began.

"They've put the pieces together about the last few months, and they're developing a good friendship through this," the source said of the exes.

Eddie's wife has made no secret about how feels about the whole thing, ripping both LeAnn and her hubby apart in the press, but Dean has yet to say anything negative.

"I don't really know what to say," he commented on Leann's divorce filing and her sudden trip to Cabo with Eddie. "It's bizarre. It's surreal. But I'm doing OK."

Could you ever forgive a cheating ex enough to remain friends?

Lisa Loeb is about to join the mommy club!

The singer and husband, Roey Hershkovitz, are having a baby, People.com reports.

"They're excited to welcome their first child this winter," Lisa's manager said.

Lisa and Roey got on the kid train fast, as they were just married this past January in Manhattan. The happy couple met at a business meeting in 2006.

Congrats!

Does Tony Romo have "a type" or what?

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback has taken up with a new lovely lady -- and she just happens to be a cute, busty blonde, like his most recent ex Jessica Simpson.

UsMagazine.com is reporting that Tony has been hittin' the Dallas scene with beauty queen Candice Crawford -- sister of Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford.

"She's not happy that it's out [in the media], but they weren't trying to hide," an insider said. "They've gone out to dinner in Dallas a bunch."

Tony gave Jess the old heave-ho in July -- the night before her 29th birthday -- and was rumored to have had a bunch of blonde flings while he and Jessica were an item.

Hmmmm. Dating carbon copies of your ex -- have you done it?

David Beckham is a pretty devoted husband. For his tenth anniversary to former Spice Girl Victoria "Posh" Beckham, the soccer star and Armani model told Ellen DeGeneres that he got his wife a very special gift -- a brand new tattoo symbolizing their time together.

"I had 10 roses around my arms...for the 10 years," David spills on Ellen's season premiere on Sept. 8.

And, of course, his act of devotion was well-received.

"I always seem to do pretty well," David said. "She always seems to be happy with the gifts that I get her."

The couple, who have three sons, work hard to keep their love fresh.

"It not always about buying gifts for each other. We just make sure that we spend time together or go for dinner together," he goes on. "That is important to us."

Would you ever get a tattoo for your honey? Would you want them to get one for you? Tell me about the most extreme act of love you've ever been a part of...
