The Apprentice Goes West and Other TV News

E_Apprentice_Donald_136.jpgThe next season of the Apprentice is going to take place in Los Angeles. I'm sure tasks will include selling fake boobs and setting up new tanning salon businesses. In related news, Mr. Trump, who doesn't drink and avoids people who do, is launching a vodka line.

  • Both Peter and Greg Brady will be appearing on an upcoming episode of That 70s Show. That would be Barry Williams and Christopher Knight to those of you who know them by their real names. The show will air next year.

  • Three more new shows have been canceled: Hot Properties (ABC), Threshold (CBS) and Reunion (Fox). It's okay -- you obviously weren't watching them anyway.

  • The Biggest Loser was Matt Hoover, who dropped 157lbs. It's really nice that there's a reality show out there that's more than just bickering. They're actually bettering themselves and getting healthy. I think I'm going to tear up.

  • According to TV Guide, Rob Lowe will return to the West Wing for one last episode. If the show ends in May, expect it to be the finale. "They asked if Rob would do the last show and wrap it up," said his spokesperson. "It would be like George Clooney coming back to ER one last time." Way to talk up your client, but they're not really in the same league.

  • Who knew that former Lois & Clark costars Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain didn't like each other? Not me. Where have I been? When Dean was asked if he'd ever do a guest spot on Desperate Housewives to rekindle their old fire, he said: "I don't know. I can't even speculate. I don't watch that show. It's kind of a soap opera -- not really my cup of tea." Well, it gets much better ratings than Las Vegas, doesn't it?

    Love your blog!

One question, do you know of a site that shows all the canceled shows for the season so far? I was looking for one that updates as shows are canceled.

    Thanks!

Where is it inferred in Dean Cain's comments that he and Teri Hatcher didn't get along? Just because he doesn't watch Desperate Housewives? Believe it or not, there are some people who DON'T watch it - why does it automatically mean that there's bad blood between them just because he DOESN'T watch?

I agree with K's comment. This interview with Dean was from TVguide and the topic of Teri Hatcher arose when he was asked about the rumor of him guesting on Desperate Housewives. He said he's heard of it, but there has been no such offer. I think the question to his response was more of a "If you were to guest star, who would your character be." It makes sense if you read his answer again.

I've heard the 'hated each other rumors' and the 'affair rumors' through the years, but what tv couple in history hasn't been plagued with those.

Las Vegas sucks, btw! Good one about the ratings.
