It was a bit too much information about their sexual chemistry...that is just so private. She is just so defensive about stuff, it will undoubtedly make the public question it more. I watch the View, and she is a very intelligent lady/attorney and a devoted Christian. I totally respect her for those accomplishments.

As for her weight loss, it HAD to be gastric bypass in my opinion. I mean, that woman literally shrunk. That is awesome to lose that much weight, it's a really hard thing to do. For that, I applaud her.
I wish her continued success with her weight struggle and in her apparently very passionate marriage.

I only mentioned Star's Christianity because of listening to her on The View after the Barbara Walters special on Heaven. She was just so adamant about Jesus Christ and sounded so strong and unwavering. I mean, if it's not really like that, it's too bad. But I thought it was cool for her to stand up for her beliefs.

Why are people so vicious. By reading most of these comments, they resound the attitude and bitterness of this world. So what if she has married a man who was formerly gay, If she likes it, we should love it. So what if she has had bypass surgury. And the only reason she has gone so public is because society has tried to devour every aspect of their personal life. And so what if they went to their pastor for counseling. By the flavor of these comments, sounds like a lot more of you need to visit one with the quickness.

Goodness people, just let her write her book and enjoy her fifteen minutes in the spotlight. I'm not a fan of Star Jones, but attacking her marriage or her weight is just wrong. It's just not right to judge people that seem to really want to better themselves.
I applaud her for being who she is, despite what people say about her. That is a hard thing to do, regardless of your position in life, and even if we don't agree with her or like her, she is a strong woman to do it.

By the way to the anonymous poster, a plastic surgeon does NOT do gastric bypass surgery or Lap-Band surgery, a general surgeon does these procedures.

Personally I think she had the Lap-Band (adjustable gastric band) because nothing is hanging from Star and with the big gastric bypass you have to then go and have all that sagging skin resected and she hasn't had enough time off to do that BIG surgery. Her weight loss appeared nice and slow - just like the Lap-Band.

Oh well, I just work for gastric bypass surgeons and this is just my *take* on things. I cannot stand Star Jones and when the ladies on the view are all together, they all speak at the same time, making it very difficult to decipher what anyone is saying.

I agree that Star has had the lap band her weight loss was too consistent and continuous. However I believe she has done the right thing not to promote it. I feel people would have it done just because it worked for her and that could be dangerous as it is a procedure that some people can have a lot of problems with
