Farewells: West Virginia native Don Knotts -- from The Andy Griffith Show and Three's Company -- passed away on Friday of pulmonary and respiratory complications. He was 81. I sure loved that Mr. Furley... Another passage? Darren McGavin is dead at 83. He was the dad in The Christmas Story with the leg lamp. Great flick.

I love the Andy Griffith show, and Don Knotts as Barney Fife was fabulous. He was such an endearing charachter. I also loved his movies. You could always count on being entertained, and having good clean fun. Unlike most comedic actors today (so raunchy) I'm going to miss Mr. Knotts. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Thank you Don for all the hours of laughter.
