Charlie & Denise's Split: It's Getting Nasty
Don't expect to see any more photos of estranged couple Charlie Sheen and Denise holding hands or sneaking kisses. As I told you, their reconciliation is off -- and things are starting to get nasty.
When their romantic getaway to the Caribbean in December was a bust, Charlie and Denise decided to move ahead with the divorce in January, hiring a private arbitrator to sort out the mess. Now, according to People.com, they're no longer on speaking terms.
"It's gotten very ugly," a Denise insider tells People.com. "They aren’t talking to each other at all."
This biggest issue at this point is their daughters -- Sam and Lola. Denise wants sole custody of the kids, but Charlie is demanding joint custody.
In other custody news, the New York Daily News has a story today about Sharon Stone's Basic Instinct sequel. But what I found most interesting in the article, which is totally unrelated to the flick, is that Sharon and her ex, Phil Bronstein, have an unusual custody deal for their 5-year-old son. For the next four years, little Roan will live for a year with his dad, then a year with his mom.

What did Denise ever see in that low-down, no-good-for-nothing whore-master??? In a way I do not feel sorry for her...she knew damned well what she was getting out of that Creap...And he's so Ugly to boot !! Hope those kids don't end up looking like him !!!! She better go forward as fast as she can and get him gone !! I would never allow that bastard to have visitation without supervision....There's something, actually alot wrong with him, and he just shouldn't be allowed alone with those babies....Denise is what a lady is all about and I'll never understand her marrying that low-life...Let him go hook up with those weird Simpson girls..Ashley or Jessica...They're more his speed...I'll bet daddy Simpson would like him too !!!! Oh Boy !! I wonder what the reason is for this arrangement..They are both fine people and if it works for them and the child...more power to the decision....Anyone ever hear about this sort of custody arrangement...???
That Sharon Stone deal is weird. I hope he gets to see the other parent during the year - seems like it would be confusing for the little guy.
I sure hope Sharon Stone and her husband live close by to eachother so their son can see both of them regularly. What a strange custody agreement!

Wasn't Denise a former Heidi Fleiss girl and isn't that how Charlie met her? I guess that saying is true: You can't turn a ho into a housewife.

I think the Denise and Charlie thing is no surprise --- ONCE A CHEATER - ALWAYS A CHEATER!!! And no respecting female would stay with a cheating man!!! I think you should not even forgive once!!! One time is too many! Sure she tried again for the baby's sake and I am sure all the hormones from the pregnancy played a part but now that reality has kicked in she realized its a bad idea to stay with a man who is disrespectful, its a bad example for her daughters. If she puts up with it, they will learn to do the same in their lifes and its unhealthy!

It seems like such a travesty that, in the modern world, we divide on the lines by taking sides with the party we most identify with, but have you ever thought about how the child feels. It's a terrible thing to see custody battles wind up with one parent never seeing their own flesh and blood again. Even if charlie sheen is a cheater, he should at least get to see his kids. He's deprived enough simply losing a beautiful woman like denise richards. Besides, how's he going to cheat on his kids, exactly? it's two seperate issues. But charlie and denise's kid will resent the world less if she can see both parents. trust me, i've lived through a bitter divorce of my parents.
I do feel bad for their girls, they are going to have to grow up knowing their father is a whore monger and their mother spread it for Playboy. Ugh!
I do think that Charlie's infidelity is a seperate issue than whether he is a good father. However, what needs to be determined is the reason Denise wants sole custody-if it's because she doesn't want them exposed to a certain lifesyle (seeing their dad have MANY different woman in and out of his life) then she has a right to protect her kids from what she may feels is emotionally bad. Plus by asking for sole custody its not saying he has no right to visitation, just that they will primarily live at her residence. That way they don't bounce from home to home week to week (also another good reason to seek sole custody). HOWEVER- if she is seeking it because she is HURT and MAD and is just looking for a way to hit him where it hurts then its wrong.We don't know what kind of parents either of them are, so let's all hope that a family court judge will make the proper choice for the girls. Hopefully, the fact that they are both celebrities will make it more fair! No one-sided star power interfering will be more fair!
