What is up with all these celebrity men wanting woman to pop out babies on demand, regardless of what they want?? Hello --- do we live in the dark ages??? Woman have the right to do WHAT they want with THEIR bodies --- just because hubby decides the sperm are getting a little crusty, she doesn't have to have a kid. I think it's a convenient excuse for men to get out of a marriage!! You should have the baby conversation (including all the aspects of it) before committing to someone -- find someone who wants what you want!! And most of all respect your partner's right to be ready or not to be ready!!

What's with all these celebrity women putting their careers ahead of their families? And what if the woman you marry tells you, when you marry, that all that she wants is a family, and then a few years later she doesn't and it's your (the man's) fault? Couples need to be honest with each other.

It's just another diva married to a rocker, two egos too big to contain in a marriage.

She don't need to have anymore kids. Not that I am against older women having kids, but when i am in my 40's, I want to be able to focus on my career, family, and life, not changing more diapers.

This is a real sad day learning that Heather & Richie are breaking up.
They seem like such a adorable couple.
Hopefully she just filed for divorce to get his attention and she don't really mean it.

I think that some ppl don't know how lucky they are and it would have been much classier of Heather to let her husband know that she was filing rather than releasing it to the press first. I read an interview that he had no idea. The interviewer mentioned it. HOpefully she gave their daughter more consideration. Kind of cowardly if you ask me. Richie's career is going well and hers isn't. She had 20 years of playing the vixen. It's time for the younger ones to do it now. Life goes on. If the rumors are true about Heather wanting to focus on her career and get back in the spotlight, she's done it. Her face is all over the place now. Sad.

It takes 2 to make a marriage and 2 to break a marriage. However, I do think Heather could have been a bit more mature to give Richie a bit of a heads up that she was filing papers for divorce, instead of him finding out from a reporter. As for her snooping into his email - it shows she neither respected nor trusted him at that point - the marriage was over. Honestly, if their problems were this bad and her job was more important than children, I'm happy she didn't bring more children into their marriage. It seems Heather left this marriage a long time ago. It was all a matter of time and when would be the best publicity moment for her.

im a major Bon Jovi fan, and yes i know what happened briefly of what happened. I don't want to say but i have been researching. Although Richie and Heather seemed perfect, there is always the ups and downs in celebrity marriages. I still love Richie to death, i think people shouldn't judge his music off this. I also think Heather shouldn't get harrassed by this decision and it also shouldnt effect her career. Richie and Heather's marraige will be a celebrity marriage people will never forget.

My opinion is that she didn't give him a chance and that she's probably the one with more to hide. Richie was faithful to her from what we see and their daughter will be the one to suffer most. Sad. But then again, most stars do let pride and ego get in the way. Maybe Heather's jealous Richie still has a CAREER and can get up and make a record and get all the attention he could ever wish for without trying or caring. He was too real and down to earth for her. Well, let's hope his heart isn't too broken and that he does better and doesn't get trapped by a woman's looks-and finds someone with a great heart that will take care of him.

i think that they should get back together and try to work it out if not for them atleast do it for their child.

oh please the woman is milking the publicity. i saw her in people again with ava. I have never seen so many picks with her and ava in eight years. now she's the perfect mom. this from the woman who admitted that she didn't even get up with the kid in the morning. when asked the princess said' noooooo." i dont' know about you but i get up with my daughter every morning. no one should feel sorry for heather. she is getting exatly what she wanted...publicity. you notice that richie is being private about it. he has much more class than his almost x-wife.

If Richie had a little more pizzazz...not quite as much as Tommy... but a little more UMP it would have made things more interesting for Heather. The 80's hair-bands get together & they think they're the "King of the Hill" instead of "Over the Hill". She's the best he ever could have imagined

Very depressing. Especially when friends say they were the perfect couple. That they really loved one another and had found their soulmates. Do you know how rare that is to find? You are lucky to find that special someone just one time in your life. Marriage can be a tough business. It is not always what we want and expect it to be. But if you really love one another you find a way to get through it. Nothing wonderful in life is always easy to obtain. If it was we wouldn't appreciate what we have. I hope this will be the case for these two great people. Maybe through some separation time they both will appreciate what they had and realize that they can have that again. If by chance this gets read by one of them, remember nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes. You have to learn to forgive rather that decide to live life without one another. I truly believe that someday they will be back together. If they don't then they truly didn't find that one great love and soulmate that we all hope to find.

yes,but richie fired the assistant..after that she started sending him her hot pictures..and called him on his phone...or maybe she wan't that richie and heather break up..so she started to seduced him..then richie fired her,and the assistant started calling him...and then heather saw the pics and find out that she called him every day..and second;richie wanted second child...but heather carrer...so they didn't mach again..

I get the impression that heather was just so obsessed with her career that she kept putting off the thought of having another child. Bless richie, who is infact is an only child himself, for wanting to have another child. I think he would have loved the idea of his second child being a little boy, but oh no! Heather's career had to come first! Where is the fairness in that?

this is such balony.problems were arising since 2002.i made huge efforts but he other party was over it. i waas kind loving and would do anying.As for children.... I was excited and ready in nov and dec. He stopped it. I now know why. This was so meant to be. hes a great dad and we are working together on this. H and R
