I haven't kept up with the show, but since I have been sick the last couple days, I have been glued to my couch, a couple books, and television. I happened to catch the season finale last night, and, while I though Stacy was really great, Drew did really well too. And since they take into account America's vote, it's up to the fans to call in and vote. I thought they all did well, even though Stacy was quite obviously the best.

Nick deserved every bit of his win on the show. He was outstanding, as was his partner. The cowboy routine they did for the semi-finals was unbelievable! I was not a fan before the show (never heard of him, but had heard of his much more famous brother), but I sure am now. Seems like a totally good guy.

Love Stacy and Drew. Thought they should have been the two remaining. While Jerry won 2nd, felt it was due to the fan base and not the fact that he was THAT great. He needs to be consistant in order to properly be in 2nd place. That said, he did however do a fabulous free style which I think was a major factor to his 2nd place.

Stacy's partner, Tony, however, acts like a spoiled brat. He's rude and arguementative. A major turnoff that I believe cost Stacy votes. However, her free style was cute but ran short of technical "wow" power. Her partner thought they had it in the bag. Bad mistake that cost them dearly.

Drew and his partner, Cheryl had the right attitude all along...take nothing for granted and consistantly chose great music to fit the dance routines. Hence, their numbers were consistantly in the top two. They had the "wow" power and delivered knock out performances.

My 3 favorites are: Drew, Stacy and Lisa.

Um....INDY...It wasn't Nick dancing it was his brother Drew!

I just started watching the show last week. I remember Drew from watching the Newlyweds. His brother is one talented guy! He always put in 100% into his dance routines and showed that hard work really does pay off. Kudos to Drew for a win well-deserved! I also liked Stacy, she too put in 100% every time. But the creativity of their dance routines paled in comparison to Drew's. He had fire in his eyes and a passion inparalleled to Stacy and Jerry. Jerry would definitely get most improved, he really raised the bar for himself and he is in inspiration to all who hestitated to try something new.

Kudos also to Nick and Drew's wife for always sitting front row to support Drew. Now we know how Nick is coping with his impending divorce....with help from family.

Ok I've watched it since the start. I really was hoping Stacey would win until a few weeks ago. She really dropped the ball, while Drew improved every week she kind of leveled off. Drew's "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" routine was HOT while the Stacey's "Stayin' Alive" routine was luke warm at best (even Jerry's freestyle was better). I think Drew wanted it more and did a better job.

Stacey should have won, but it really doesn't matter. The whiners made it to the last two, so there you have it. I hope he enjoys his ugly trophy, goes along with his ugly wife, and ugly partner.

Jerry should have been eliminated a long time ago, in my opinion before Geroge Hamilton. And... even before Master P. What a baby, wah, wah, so maybe someone who lacks as much talent in football should have paraded on the field at the super bowl, instead of him. By the way, rings on a chain went out with letter sweaters cry baby.

As far as this show, ABC should know that people just won't watch it anymore. It is a SHAM. It is a popularity contest, and has absolutely nothing to do with dancing.

That is why Stacey should feel bad that she didn't come in the last two. The people who voted for Drew and Jerry have their heads up their A$$#$.

It's a hard decision because both Stacy and Drew were wonderful. I'm just glad that Jerry Rice didn't win.

Am I the only one who thinks there maybe something more to drew and cheryl's relationship than dancing... they had amazing chemistry (I always felt bad watching his pregnanu wife, I would die watching my husband getting all hot and heavy with a skinny minnie like her)

I have danced for 15 years, so my opinion comes from a technical stand point. Drew was the best dancer. He was not like the other male partners that did enough to be considered dancing but let their partners do most of the work. Stacey should have been in second, Lisa third. Jerry had his fans behind him and while he was the most improved, his skills just weren't second place worthy. That being said, if him getting second will stop guys from saying that dancing is for gay guys, then so be it!
As for their being something between Drew and Cheryl, I don't think anything is going on. However, I know if I was just about to have a baby, full of hormones and my husband was dancing with someone that toned and skinny, I'd be a little insecure. However, when you are dependent on your dance partner, you become close, brother/sister close. Lisa said that her partner was one of her solemates, but that doesn't mean anything was going on. However, if that was my husband, I probably would have told him to tone down the hugs!

I watched the show off and on and Drew comes from a background of dancing when he was w/98 degrees and of course he would be the winner and all his dance routines were unique and very sexy! Congrats to him and his partner on their ugly trophy like he described! LOL

I think that Drew & Cheryl deserve to win. They were better dancers than Jerry.
However, viewers provide 50% of the votes and that is why Jerry came in second instead of Stacy.

I think that Drew deserved it just as I felt Stacy deserved it as well. They are both winners. The sad thing to me is that Stacy was outed before Jerry..that there is the travesty in this whole thing. Lisa and Louie were far better than Jerry and his partner for that matter.

Sue- Just so you know, they didn't get to pick their music (exception: Free Style). The music was selected for them, they had to choreograph a dance to match.

Don't you guys get it..... Jerry had to place 2nd. If it had been Stacey there would have been another dance off two months from now when fans protested.
Drew was the best dancer no question. He put his heart into the routines, made sure they were challenging and creative ! I am truly happy for Drew and Cheryl

Drew Lachey was an awesome performer from the very beginning. He and his partner definitely deserved their win. This show has been amazing ~ so much fun to watch, very entertaining. Stacey was also excellent. I was pulling for Drew and Cheryl so I am very pleased with the results!

In actuality, it was Lisa who was robbed by Jerry. (But I watch enough seasons of several popularity contests to understand the demographics involved in votes like that.)

As far as Stacey being robbed... well they gave her all 10s! The vote already being handed in her (probably less than stellar) previous night, added to the judges giving her high marks wasn't quite enough for the populaire. (For once), there was no robbing here.

That being said, I'm not really a Drew fan. I liked Lisa the best, but was totally impressed by Jerry's Freestyle. Having watched several seasons of several shows - some of his lifts were original and more difficult than what I've seen before.

Anyway, wasn't really a surprise.

Drew deserved to win. He and Cheryl were dynamite together! Stacy was amzing..no doubt about it, but for some reason I feel there are alot of Stacys out there...beautiful, long legs, graceful, tall and can dance...

Drew, on the other hand, was a surprise to me. He took that role and ran with it. You could tell how much he wanted to win, how determined he was, and I was actually amazed how great he was and became in the end. I think he and Cheryl were a great duo and winning was well deserved!

Plus someone posted " do you think more was going on with Drew and Cheryl"? I seriously doubt it! I doubt he is that stupid...with all the cheating rumors and nasty divorce battles that Jess and Nick are going through. I dont think he would go down that road at this time..but that's jmo

Honestly, to call names over a contest that you had the power to determine the outcome, please. Drew and Cheryl were far better contenders. They remained consistent and worked well as partners. I commend each of the celebrities that participated, they did beautiful jobs. So, to those individuals who think calling the contest "rigged" or "a sham" replay the show in your head, you are told every night that the scores were compiled of judges along with audience votes. Do the math, Jerry honestly had a stronger fan base both on and off of the show. Stacy hurt her ankle and her last three dances have been lack luster. She got hurt when it mattered the most. She did a beautiful job, but face it the audience voted and Drew and Cheryl emerged victorious.
Cheryl is beautiful, so to call names is really uncalled for and for those of you who try to call names or make fun that is not only childish, but it shows your own immature insecurities.

Most of the time I felt like Drew was compact and tiny, stunted, and that it really inhibited the level of expression he could do. He did great, a great dancer, but I always feel like some of the judges felt that he never quite extended himself, just too compact for my specific tastes. (Stacey was the opposite of that, but she relied too much on her limbs, and didn't quite have the personality.) Yup, it should have been Lisa. ;)

Nick was the best I couldnt take a step away from the tv when he was on HE DESERVED TO WIN!!!!!

I don't give a fig about the dancing...but Jerry Rice seems the most likeable. I'm surprised he didn't get more viewer votes than Drew.

If you think that Stacey was robbed and deserved to win, then you obviously missed the finals where Stacey did they extreamly boring routine and Drew and Cheryl rocked the house. Stacey and Drew were neck and neck for being the best but when it came to crunch time, Drew pulled out all the stops.

DREW AND CHERYL TRUELY DESERVED TO WIN. THEIR ROUTINES WERE ENTERTAINING, TECHNICALLY CORRECT AND PERFORMED WITH PASSION. NO ONE WAS ROBBED....THOSE THAT DID NOT PLACE BY THEIR DANCE STEPS ALONE HAVE THEIR PHONE DIALING FANS TO THANK....THATS CALLED SUPPORT!

Stacey was robbed of 2nd. I tried to vote for the entire time, when the call finally went through it said I had reached the maximum number of calls from that phone - even though it was busy EVERY time before that. Could Rice have rigged the phone lines? ha ha Jerry did not deserve 2nd.

Wow all you that really think the show OBVIOUSLY dont pay attention to how the votes worked. I was going for Jerry (because I absolutely LOVE Jerry), BUT he DID win the phone votes.. even OVER Drew, but Drew got more votes than Stacy, THEREFORE that is how he won. Judges scores, Drew came in 1st (3pts), Stacy came in 2nd (2pts) and Jerry in 3rd(1 pt)... in phone votes Jerry came in 1st (3pts), Drew came in 2nd(2pts) and Stacy came in 3rd (1pt)... therefore Jerry got a total of 4pts, Stacy had 3pts and Drew won with 5pts!! Phone votes were 50% of the votes at ALL TIMES!!!! That is why Jerry stayed in the final two!!!!!

Naturally I though that Nick and Cheryl were so good. Such great personalities and smiles. I did not like Stacy that much, she did fair most of the time, but after a few dances all she did was flirt, prmote herself, kick her leg and shake her booty. The people who voted knew this.
