I so agree! Can't these celebs make an appointment?!?!? Another reason for rising medical costs - running to the ER for a fart cross-wise!!!! I think it is just an attempt to get sympathy. "Oh poor (fill in the blank) had to be rushed to the hospital for sympathitis." Meanwhile, regular people suffer with cancer and other debilitating diseases every day and we keep ourselves humble and real by doing our best and struggling with medical bills and ever changing policies and coverage. Sorry, you only have Stage 1 cancer, you have to pay for all your blood transfusions at $200 a pop. But in comes Ms. Hollywood with indigestion... "Here's a suite and the service is on us. I think stars should have a private Doc on their payroll then they wouldn't have to go to the hospital for every little thing. I was being sarcastic and making a joke. Apparently you think every word written in these blogs is fact. And actually, it is a fact that running to the ER has driven up insurance costs. I worked in the field in addition to reading many articles relating to this fact. Bottom line: Stars get star treatment for minor complaints while us regular people go through lots of red tape and are often times denied coverage or must jump through hoops to get coverage for serious illness. Lighten up and slam the stars, not other bloggers!

Tan- if you see stars getting free medical treatment did you ever think that maybe the fault lies in the providers who are giving the free services to them?? Maybe you should blame them for the rising cost of medicine. Stars get better treatment in ER. She (Britany) came in with a pimple and the poor guy with half his leg cut off is waiting for them to see if he has insurance. I was rushed to the hospital with an eptopic pregancy that ruptured. I was bleeding to death internally. I was having siezures and all. The bitch in admissions was bugging my friend to see if i had insurance. My husband was out of the country on buisness. Luckly someone had my purse and I was able to tell my friend where my insurance card was in between siezures. I'm sure Britany pimple was popped faster than I was able to get into surgery.Things moved fast after they found out I had great insurance.
