I find Conan too dull and boring as a host on his own show, I would hate to watch him host the Emmys. His sense of humor is about as funny as visiting a nursing home with all those old gals drooling over young guys comin' in to visit their granmamas and grandaddys. He could host a nursing home knit a thon but an Emmy show again..we've got to draw the line with this guy.

I like Conan, he's a funny guy. I like the dry sense of humor, like my favorite and one of the all time greats Bob Newhart. I hate over the top, what I call "bathroom humor" I want my comedy Witty. Not something crude and raunchy. Unfortunately most comics these days only know that type of humor.

I think Conan will do fine. Especially when you think of some of the other choices they might have made. It should be a good show.

Kallot you're off your rocker! Conan is NOT dull and boring. Maybe you just don't have enough brain cells left to understand his humor. And I totally agree that bathroom humor is what a lot of new comics know and that's really sad.

Conan rocks; he has a quirky sense of humor. He definately stands out from the other comics who rely on the same old generalizations.

Conan is great! Not great to look at and not great in bed but he's great on the show.

Conan is not my favorite show to watch, but he's okay. He will keep the Emmy's
on track and they won't have to worry about what he will say, like some comedians.

How peculiar, I too am a Virgo in the month of August as well.

Conan's humour is an acquired taste. If you don't sit through it and give it a chance he will never be funny for you. The first few shows I was like "wtf" is this all about. But then later on I recognized is subtle form of comedy and find him to be "sleeper" comic. I believe he will do a good job.

Conan is freaking funny. He cracks me up! Every time I watch his show, there is something absurd to laugh about. Not so, for the other late nighters, who have their "on" nights, and "off" nights.

COnan should get replaced by Triumph- The insult comic dog. I keed I keed.

i can't believe what i'm hearing. conan is the funniest person i have ever seen. what are you talking about when you said his humor is like watching old people drool over young guys? that was the worst analogy i've ever heard. i honestly believe that you haven't watched much conan at all, you should get to know conan before you criticize him. maybe you should stepp outside of your dreadful self and recognize some real whit.

I'm happy that Conan will host the Emmys. I know he will do a great job. (he always does) I agree that conan is the funniest person ever. Obviously, those who don't appreciate his comedy and get bored with it lack the brains to get it.

Craig Ferguson is a much better choice. He is very very funny, unlike Conan's boring sense of humour.
