Anyway...as for Janet. I do think its a huge possibility that she got plastic surgery. Every trainer I've ever spoken to has said that in order to loose weight and still be healthy you have to do it slowly. Whatever the case, I think that Janet looks good.

Hi, I'm not trying to toot my own horn or anything but I'm 45 and I've been hitting the gym faithfully since I was 20 years old and my abs look like hers! I've never had kids so I know that helps but I know lots of women at my gym that have kids that are in they're 40's and they have great abs!! I do agree that Janet probably had work done because it takes hard work and a lot longer than 4 months!!

I was about 40 ponds overweight and lost it all in 4 months - without a nutritionist, chef, personal trainer or the time to work out more than an hour a day. I think it could be done ESPECIALLY since she is rumored to have bulked up for a movie role. If you put it on fast, you can get it off faster. Just my opinion.

I just read about a new procedure it's a mini lipo. They target certain areas such as abs to define the muscles. It is quick easy cheaper and doesn't take the time to heal as the other lipo. It's about half the price. Alot of celebs are choosing it to define their bods.

I think Janet looks great. Just because one is 40 years old does not mean that you have to be fat and out of shape as well as old looking. I am 38 years old and still maintain an alright shape and look younger then my friends who are actually younger than me. So don't hate on Janet! It is all in home you take care of yourself.

My aunt is 67, runs marathons, rollerblades, and can kick some butt at volleyball. She has the body of a 40 yr old. I believe that a fit body is part genes and part lifestyle. I am 46/female and have the strength and muscle tone of someone in the mid 20's. In my family, it is the genes, not the exercise. Thank God, cause I need some exercise-smiles.

If I had Janet's $$$$$$$, trainer and food. I believe that I could look close to that- without surgery.

Bottom line- it is hard to know for sure what she really did... but either way, she looks great to me.

We saw wthe weight coming off on those pics. She worked out bottom line. Unfortunately many of us have kids, jobs so we can't devote that much time to it but she can and looks good. Meowww... why do women keep doggin' on women? I don't see any stitch lines - it would be a bigger miracle of they can liposuc and tummy tuc without leaving any trace of post-surgery tell-tale signs. It takes more fitness to recover from that trauma that losing weight you gained quickly. It is rather uncouth to post such groundless opinions - tabloid rags claiming UFO abductions can speculate on that kind of thing.

There are no stitch lines because they touch up the photos. Even the super models say they touch up their photos.
Not only that with Lipo there wouldn't be any stitch lines they make a microscopic incision and stick a tube in and suck the fat out. It's not a huge knife scar.

She looks a lot better at 40 than most women I have seen in their 20s and 30s, and I have seen some hard looking pickled faced, wrinkled faced, bloated looking women in thier teens, 20's and 30's that look 50. Kudos to Janet for keeping it tight, with or without cosmetic surgery. She is gorgeous! I just wish she would cover up a little more.

Crabs in a barrel, this mentality has always amazed me. It's quite easy to speak negatively of someone. Ms Jackson has done well for herself and looks wonderful. Why can't we just be glad for her and not be so quick to spread gossip. She is kind enough to share her gift of music and entertainment with the world. Janet has been for her entire life a yo-yo dieter. She has admitted to taking diet pills in the past (during her "Janet" Tour days)and is a self-proclaimed workaholic. I'm sure the muscle has always been there but was covered by her weight. While I think 60 pounds in 4 months is a little drastic- it's entirely probable given her diet during the months and the amount of exercise she endured. 60 pounds in 16 weeks means she loss a little under 4 pounds each week- doesn't sound so unrealistic or impossible.

When one has cosmetic surgery their body swells for up to a year in the areas that were treated. I know from experience. I had cosmetic surgery and know for a fact that there is NO WAY she could have had lipo and is now showing off her body. That's impossible!

I'm not here to cheer for or dog any of these comments but I have to say, you really must consider the fact that 40 isn't old for one, Janet has always made strong fit body comebacks, probably has a body with excellent muscle memory, and has a lot of money to have THE BEST CHEFS out there cook her the right meals. She's entertained us for years with music that will make most people get in better shape if they wanted to, so why don't we show her a little respect!
