i dont know if anyone else noticed but in those pictures from the night he was partying he was hanging all over some girls....??? wonder what his wife thought.. since she was at home with all 7 kids.

His hair looked really gray in those pictures. Bet his wife had alot to do with his 28 days in lock-down. If I was the wife he wouldn't be able to sit while rehabbing.

Hasn't he always been a cheater? I read an article about him a bazillion years ago that said he was "not a very good husband". He seems to be "not a very good person".

Honestly? I am so sick of hearing about Mel, I like him. I think he's cute. So, what is all this drama about? Whoa! He was drinking and driving in Hollywood and he said some nasty stuff. Whoa! I can't remember when I was acting normal under the influence of alcohol....I can't remember one actor who has not been caught doing something CRA-ZY!!!????? That's just the biz...it's GOT to be a slow news week, because this story is over and boring.

This story has gone on way to long. He did it, he said he was sorry how much more can we say about it? The news media is running this into the ground. Hollywood people are idiots. I like Mel and I will continue to watch his movies. If he makes anymore. I think we have bashed him enough.

Yes, all seven children are from the same wife. What Mel did (and said) is reprehensible. I am, however, glad he did not compound the outrageous behavior by "coming on" to the women the other night. His family has enough shame as it is.

1- it's not like they don't have a ton of money and people who work for them it's not like she is in a shack doing everything herself

2- not all 7 kids still live with them some are in their 20's in fact, Christian Gibson went to my college (Univ of Colorado at Boulder), was in my philosophy class and graduated with me. (looks JUST like his dad too!)

SO no, she's not slaving away to 7 kids at home....and if she has it that bad with him, then why is she still with him?

okay, for me honestly, every part of this incident EXCEPT for the incredibly anti-semitic comments could have been forgiven and looked past. It is horrible when people drive drunk, as they are a risk to others as well as themselves. However, what he said goes beyond anything i could have ever thought to have heard from him. yes, his dad is a holocaust denier and his movie was not too jewish-friendly (even though historically the romans played the role that people blame the jews for) But to hear a man, one in the public blatantly show his true beliefs, thats just...i dont even know what to say. i dont believe all that about "it was the alcohol talking", it probably played an important factor, but you wouldnt say these things if you didnt believe them. As they say, alcohol can be a truth serum. I'll always enjoy braveheart and i hope that he gets the help he desperatly needs, but i have lost all respect for him.

I like Mel Gibson. I don't like his recent behavior. He needs to do some heavy duty soul searching. Make some changes. I'll still watch his movies if they look good. We have all said stuff when angry, or drunk that we were later ashamed of. It happens. The important thing is to realize why and change.

I just hope that from now on whenever someone famous makes a crack at Christians the media has the same response!!!

Is it true Mel's father denies the existance of the Holocaust? I never knew that at all. Would explain Mel's behaviour having to grow up in that environment. That is so unbelievable, to think such a travesty was "made believe".

Mel's daddy isn't the only one that claims there was no Holocaust. That lie has been floating around for years. By people that don't want the world to know or remember the horrific truth of what happened.

But that is beyond ludicrous. It would have taken the cooperation of all the allied forces and even the nazi regime to aggree on faking the death of millions of jews! It doesnt make any sense. What purpose could it have served?

My understanding of Mel's situation is that the Police Officer was Jewish and Mel's comments were directly to the Officer not as a whole, does anyone know?
