I actually saw these pictures yesterday and thought how unappropriate it was...not because of the back tattoo but at the sight of a FIVE YEAR OLD in that suggestive of a pose and TOPLESS! I must say I thought it was a bit much. She is five, I can't even imagine the perverts that were enjoying those pics before they were removed.

The pictures were not bad and if they were her parents wouldn't let it happen!

OMG it is no big deal to be 5 years old and topless! My parents used to let me run around on the beach in just the bottom part of a kiddie bikini when I was 5.

I know how old I'm going to sound when I write this, but when I was five you could run around topless in the front yard and no one made a fuss, because the only people you had to worried about were the 'kooky guys' as my dad would call them.
The internet has opened up new doors to people who prey on children, and I believe because it provides easy access to pictures these people, there are likely more predators now than ever before. At least when I was little a person had to make genuine efforts to fulfil their desires, and likely had time to think twice about what they were doing.
That said, I recognize that there is a difference between art and smut, but others may not. I think it illustrates poor judgement on Cindy's part to allow the shots to be published, especially on the internet. Five year olds need not be suggestive, it is far too dangerous a world to put that out there.

I think it was more the pose the child was in. It's the type of pose a model would be in trying to be sexy. She's five years old and has no business trying to be sexy.
I think it's ridiculous.They are going to have plenty of time to be women, let them be children and play with barbies. Not taking pictures topless in a suggestive pose with a tattoo on their lowerback. Get real.

What kind of mother would let their little girl take suggestive pictures, at 5? Especially with so many child predators out in there, with access to the internet. Just because Cindy lives to model in Playboy does not mean that she should try to make her little girl into a center fold. Let her grow up and make her own decisions when she is 18. I agree. I am a Cindy Crawford fan, but when I saw those pic a little while ago I was shocked. There is no way I would ever let my daughter take those kind of pictures. Cindy needs to keep her kids out of the spotlight. She is always putting them in her commercials and photo shoots. That's how celebrity kids grow up with problems because their parents push them into the spotlight. Cindy was so wrong for this.

I haven't seen the photos in question...from the descriptions, I agree they are inappropriate. However, everyone makes mistakes! I saw Cindy and her "mini-me" on TV recently--in ten years, this little girl will be a stunner!!

I have a question ... I did not see the pics, but if the pics were "sexy", partially dressed than I think that falls under the child pornography law. I mean you aren't even supposed to take nude bathtub pics of your babies anymore. So, I think if it was something to be published for the public especially, the photograher should be reprimanded! There are too many sickos out there, who might take a pic taken "out of fun" (which since the pics were "sexual" makes it sound even worse) and make it something horrible! Celebrity's need to be careful. They know they are constantly be scrutinized for everything. This was not a smart move for Cindy Crawford. Our children have no choices but the one's we make for them. We cannot forget that the world has changed from 30 years ago when innocence was better protected. The world is a scary place and to be aware of it and live by it is unfortunately what must be done in order to protect our children.

My granddaughter has always liked fake tattoos. Does that make her a bad kid??? I think not. I have taken lots of pictures of her over the years and some of them were nude. I also have some nude shots of her mother (our daughter). BIG DEAL. And not only that, she wears a bikini to swim in. She owns several bikinis and no 1 pc. suits. The reason- she is tall. Which would be better? A bikini that covers up everything important or a 1 pc. that shows the cheeks of her rear and she has to dig it out of her crack cuz it's so short? As a model but not from US, I must say this is very strange to me. Perhaps, in my country there aren't many child perverts so i don't quite understand why these pics are regarded as inappropriate. First, the girl has a model mother and so it's inevitable that she is exposed to that kind of poses. If her mother does that, she will think it's natural. All girls at that age already dream of looking gorgeous and having admirers. The problem is Cindy probably finds it cute and adorable rather than inappropriate and dangerous. I was a gorgeous child (that is obvious to anyone who has seen me) and no one ever tried to kidnap me-I was obnoxious, a screamer, a tattler, and it I drank juice late at night...well, let's not go there.

In all seriousness, someone did try to snatch me (more than once), and when someone said it was because I was pretty it hurt my feelings and made me an introvert for sometimes. People should be careful about blaming children and families for being themselves. I think this is not bad or something like that. The girl is five years old. She does not have developed breasts. And because this fact, she can be topless. On the photo, you can see her back, no more. Her underwear is not a tanga, it is normal for a child. I do not understand the bad reactions to this photo.
