While I agree that most plastic surgery in Hollywood is entirely vanity-driven and unnecessary, I do side with Jen on her decision. A deviated septum is no fun to live with, and I totally understand her desire to have it treated. As for Ashlee, etc., they're simply wasting money that real people might actually appreciate.

Yeah I think it's weird when it totally changes the way a person looks like Ashley...and in the past Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing. I can't say that if my nose looked like that I wouldn't change it. Just being honest. Re: Jen's deviated septum, my best friend had that problem and not only can she not sleep sometimes, it's also hard for her to smell so I can't blame Jen for that one either.

Anna Nicole has had so much plastic surgery she is just gross. I had a deviated septum so I know how much of a problem it can be. After I had mine fixed it was fine. I'm glad Jennifer had hers fixed.

Mary you must have watched Angel's Fall. Heather did look horrible. She looked aged and puffy. I hope they made her look like that just for the movie. I have always liked her and think she is very pretty.

I did and I hope you're right. I've always liked her too. My six year old son even said something. He asked me what was wrong with her lips.

After corrective surgery (which was no
fun & painful) my nasal passages were
straight and free and clear and I can now breathe normally.

Ashlee you look great. It doesn't matter what people think of you as long as you are happy yourself. Just don't go as far as to have so much surgery that you will be able to blink your belly button.

My nose has been broken so many times that I can't smell anymore. So I don't shower. And I don't mind it if the gals don't shower either. Because I can't smell anything. So I like to hit the ones that are homeless. Homeless chicks will do anything for shelter. Including letting me hit it. I like it better this way too, because they stay there a few days and then leave and they walk funny when they walk out the door too. Makes me laugh every time.

The danger in having so much plastic surgery when you're young is that you'll probably need 'repair' or 'remodeling' work done in another five years or so.

My brother, Dwight Roberson, is a plastic surgeon and while he believes in a person's right to have whatever surgery they want, he also warns people to carefully consider the real reasons why they want to do it. He says it's important to realize that it's not going to make your life perfect.

If I had the money, you bet I would get plastic surgery. I would have five procedures done, and then that would be it until I got to be in my sixties for touch ups. I know it wouldn't change my depression, but then I wouldn't be embarrassed by my flabby belly from having three kids and my saggy bosom from nursing two of them. But I want to know the names of the doctors who did Prisilla Presley, Katie Couric, Meg Ryan and a few other disaterous faces I've seen so I can stay away. If I had the money, I would be heading for the Doctors 90210, even if I had to be put on a waiting list. Do celebrities go to these people? The work I've seen is really realistic and not phony. Do these celebrities go to these doctors and if not, why don't they? I would sue some of those doctors who have screwed up some of Hollywood's beautiful faces. Do the movie stars feel self conscious about their screwed up faces. I would.

I believe it was Roosevelt who said "To each his own"? It's sad to see so many young men and women undergo cosmetic surgery. Let's be real, people. These may be superficial people undergoing superficial procedures, but surgery is generally very invasive, and it can be quite dangerous. Le sigh. I have to be honest. Ashlee looks great. I can't hate the girl. Pity her? Maybe. Hate her? Nah.

I think it did her wonders. I am not a fan of plastic surgery in most cases. But if I had Ashley's nose I would have done the same thing no questions asked!
