I am actually very, very upset about this. I feel so badly for her daughter and those who knew her and loved her. This is terrible.

A sad story gets even sadder.....

I also feel very bad for her little baby. Anna is a very sad, sad story. I hope she wasn't murdered (as I know reported above) and didn't suffer any physical pain when she passed away.

I am so sad about this. It seems as if everything was going wrong for her. I can't not get over how bad I feel about this. I don't believe she was murdered, more like an overdose. Maybe she just wanted some peace.

This is tragic. She was such tabloid fodder, and I am just as guilty as the rest of the world in perpetuating the obssession with celebrity. We couldn't get enough. She moved to the Bahamas to pursue a private life, but that didn't work out so well. Her son was so obviously the light of her life, and so tragically taken from her. She couldn't even delight in the birth of her daughter because of Daniel's death and the paternity issue, which should have handled privately, now the TrimSpa lawsuits...She couldn't get a break from anything.

Just announced on CNN that she reportedly did not feel well yesterday and had a fever. I am thinking overdose (intentional or accidental?) She has had substance abuse problems in the past and everytime she has been on the news shows lately you could hardly understand her, such a tragedy.

I am so sorry for her family. No matter how we view people death is never gracefull. It can come at take us at a moments notice, with or without our help

I want to know WHY DIDN'T HOWARD GET HER INTO REHAB? I saw her on interview yesterday and she was GONE. I KNEW she was at the end of her rope. Howard sat there like the leech that he is!

I do not routinely follow celebrity news, but truly did begin to empathize with Anna Nicole from the time her husband's family tried to contest the will, all the way through to the death of her son. She always seemed so down about all that she had to face and I often wondered if she was truly getting the best kind of help from, for example, a therapist who could help her work through her feelings and deal with her problems. On the surface, it might seem that this tragedy was due to a suicide. Given, however, the close proximity of her son's death and her own I truly wonder about a possible connection between the two deaths perhaps based upon a will, business deal gone bad or something of the like. At any rate, if it did involve foul play, I pray that either the person responsible is brought to justice or if it was by other means that that cause is determined so that her family can put the cause of death to rest and move forward with their grieving process...

It was probably an overdose.
I can't claim to care much, tho.

It's really tragic, I have never been much of a follower of celebrity news,or a personal fan of Anna, but this really breaks my heart.
She was much too young to leave this world,and still had a lot of life left to live.Of course I never new her, but she seemed like a kind-hearted, really down to earth person.Shame on the people who are posting cruel comments, thinking that it is clever or funny, because it's not. If you care as little as you say you do,you wouldn't post at all. Have some respect for those who have passed on, even if you may not have care for them in their life. How would it feel to you if it were your loved one who has passed and people were making jokes? There are people now that are in a lot of pain and anguish, and it's no joking matter. I dare just one of you to go what she has gone through in the past few years and not think of suicide at least once. We are hearing the news way over here in Australia. There are suggestions i've heard here already that she died the same way as her son. Personally after just being released from hospital with pneumonia and still having a high temperature, I am hoping for her loved-ones sakes that it was natural causes.

I was so sad to hear this news today. I mean Anna Nicole was a lil off but I liked her. It could've been anything that did her in; drugs, post partum from the baby, the grief of losing her son. whatever the case she was human and we should all send our prayers to her babygirl. poor child wont know her brother or her momma. its a really tragic situation.

I just want to say that in some crazy way I respected her, and yes, I secretly watched her on E. Yes, she was out there, but I always felt her humanity come through. I feel for her baby daughter and for Howard. It was obvious from the very beginning of that show, just how much he loved her, and how right they were for each other. May she and her son be in peace, and may her little girl grow up with her Daddy, Howard Stern. I believe he has what it takes to be an awesome father. Give them a break and let them grieve and find peace.

I cannot feel bad for this woman. When Anna Nicole Smith was alive she was never coherant enough to know what was going on in the world anyways. She hasn't had a coherant thought in at least ten years. Yes, it sucks that her son passed and now with her passing Danielyn is without her mom. I am saddened by ANS's death. I woke up this morning reading about her ongoing troubles and now her life is over.
Here are my predictions:
1. She never recovered from the death of her son, Daniel.
2. Her world was crashing down on her because: 1) the paternity suit, 2) TrimSpa lawsuit, 3) denial of inheritance from billionaire sugar daddy, 4) she was bankrupt, 5)pressure of eviction from her Bahamas home and face the music.
3. Paternity test will show Danielynn belonged to ex-boyfriend, Larry Birkhead.
4. Having inwardly knowing that outcome, explains ANS's consequent fear of losing her only secure thing in this world, husband, Howard Stern.
5. She died of intentional overdose like her long-time idol, Marilyn Monroe.
6. Husband, Howard Stern, writes a tell-all book and retires with new blond bombshell.
7. Danielynn, growing up in the shadow of her dysfunctional mother and swept up in the tidal pool of the never-ending billionaire's inheritance, she too becomes a troubled dysfunctional drug addict.

This is awful! But what's equally as awful is that the press is trying to blame Rosie O'Donnell for Nicole's death. I heard the comment Rosie made that morning on The View and it wasn't provocative, heartless or mean. She was saying that stories LIKE Nicole"s are nothing more that a diversion tactic (by the media) from the War, and other global hardships. Nicole led a rough, hard life....by her choice. I DO empathize with her loved ones but she was basically an accident waiting to happen. It's ALL very sad.

Anna Nicole's story has been a very sad one. There was always awful things being said about her and she was basically made fun of in the media and of course the butt of many jokes on Leno, Letterman and such. I always felt bad for her and unfortunately the speculation surrounding her death will probably point towards drugs or alcohol. Even in death I feel bad for her. I hope that it is discovered that neither drugs nor alcohol were in no way contributing factors in her death!

I couldn't believe it when my husband told me the news. Someone so young and beautiful..and famous..to just die..without any warning. I hope for the best for her entire family. This should also be a wake up call for people. You can never know when your time will be. Everyone should find kindness and generosity in your hearts and give it to others. Judged by comments made through the media circus. I hope those of you that have cast stones are not fortunate enough to receive the same treatment and judgement that you choose to give to someone that you never knew. You should be ashamed. Your only concern should be for your own soul.

I have to admit that I really never thought much of ANS until Daniels death. Then I took more interest and felt so sad for her.
Her last few months have been so awful; the stress and the pain so intense. When news hit of her death, I almost felt relief for this poor lady. So sad, so young but thank god, back with Daniel, peace and away from the cruelty of life. Her baby will be fine and if she is raised right, will not have to suffer the wrath of the media until she is old enough to cope.

Rest in peace Anna I know how you felt after losing your son. It was plain to see the love you had for him. It is so sad in a way that when you are famous and therefore you are targeted by the media. There is no room to recover from your loss. I personally know what it is like and it is one of the most difficult things to go through and time doesn't take away the pain. I too have had a tragic life and sometimes it is all you can do just to get through every day. I just hope you find peace now and I hope that your daughter has a stable and happy life.

i feel bad about anna because she will never be in her daughter life, and her daughter will never be able to see her real mother. the child will most likly be sent to foster home. i also dont because she was suppose to be hooked on cocaine. i mostly feel bad about her baby gurl.

Its so weird how the nurse and the bodyguard are closely related and the "nurse" was watching over her. I mean why would you have a nurse go with you. I think one of them murdered her. There's no doubt about it. Well atleast now they'll find out who the daddy of the baby is.

To bad Anna nicole sent her daughter to be watched by some rich people and another nurse in the bahamas while she went on this trip than when she gets there this whole thing was a set up to kill her. I can't say that I cared at all for her but her story is a sad one. The road she chose to take in order to be a celebrity was a skanky one & lacked class, but it was her's & it's not for us to judge whether or not her daughter is better off without her. Just because she was what some might say "whorish", it certainly doesn't mean that she would have been a bad mother to her little girl. So from one who didn't care at all for Anna, rest in peace girl, & let's all just pray that whoever it is who's lucky enough to raise her baby girl will give the little sweetie all the love she deserves & that that person makes certain she knows just exactly how much her mother loved her. It's amazing how cruel people can be ! the lack of respect for life,death and humanity is chilling.Even if you did not agree with Anna Nicole's life style she still was human!where all made of flesh and bone.We all have been wrong, right,up,down in,out, lost,found and some of us are lost over and over again never to be found. I don't know why I feel so badly, I guess you form an attachment to her and her life. I reach out to her family in this time, she surely will not be forgotten. When someone dies you wish things could have been done differently. God does things in a werid way but everything he does always has a meaning, we need to take a close look and listen.
