Izzie in a Tizzy
Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl may not be playing our beloved Izzie much longer, according to People.com. Heigl has dropped out of contract negotiations with the ABC drama and sources say she is not happy with treatment she is getting.
"Katie is disappointed and hurt that (producer) Touchstone doesn't value her as much as her other costars, especially Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington," the source says. ABC had no comment.
Izzie should hit the movies -- she's so the next Charlize Theron.

well the show could go on without her character anyway. i guess that's how they view it. i love how these actors think they can do so much better...look at misha barton - thought she was so much better than the OC and where is she now? driving around smoking pot...the show wouldn't be as great without the writers and some key characters. Izzie...not so key these days.
I would stop watching the show if she left. Way for ABC to kill their entire male audience in one go..first Kate Walsh now Katherine.
Katie is a very talented actress and a beautiful woman - if she leaves the show will be much the worse for it.

Maybe she's going over to the new show with Kate Walsh?? I love Izzie - I think she's the prettiest cast member and I loved watching her drill that guy's skull a few weeks ago!

The difference between her and Sandra Oh/Isaiah Washington is that they were stars before this show. This is her big big deal so of course she isn't going to be paid as much. I think some celebs need to learn to be grateful and not bite the hand that feeds them.
i stopped watching greys when they killed off denny. without him there was not enough to offset the extreme whingy annoyingness that is meredith grey

I am bored with her character and would not miss her. I am not a fan of hers outside of the show either.
I like Izzy. I like her more than Meredith. So I'm hoping for the best for Katherine.
