well, i kind of liked Madge's stlye, which she was only an entertening the people, giving her fans what the want. you can only have it if you want it. she does not want her daughter to have that experience, and its that simple, so dont nail her for doing what she should do as a mother and also giving the her fans her best, most times its paid for mind you.
