Britney vs. Her Dad
What is it with fathers and daughters in Hollywood these days? From Angelina to Lindsay, and just recently Ireland and, now, Britney, there is just no love lost between these girls and their dads.
Britney's dad, Jamie Spears, is siding with Brit's former manager, Larry Rudolph, after the starlet blamed him for forcing her to go to rehab and ruining her image.
Jamie sent this email to Page Six, defending Larry's actions-- which caused Brit to fire him last week:
"When Larry Rudolph talked Britney into going into rehab, he was doing what her mother, father and team of professionals with over 100 years of experience knew needed to be done. She was out of control. Larry was the one chosen by the team to roll up his sleeves and deliver the message, to help save her life."The Spears family would like to publicly apologize to Larry for our daughter's statements about him over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, she blames him and her family for where she is at today with her kids and career. Larry has always been there for Britney. For this, we will forever be grateful to him."
Brit fired back, via her rep:
"I am praying for my father. We have never had a good relationship. It's sad that all the men that have been in my life do not know how to accept a real woman's love. I am concentrating on my work and my life right now."
Oh, the drama! Can't we all just get along?

How can she call herself a "real woman" when she acts more like a spoiled teenager with every passing day. A real woman would know when to take responsibility for her life instead of passing the blame to everyone around her. Her manager, friends, family did not force her ruin her image, she chose to do that by herself. I for one would never buy anything that has her name on it. Her father is 100% right in his defense of her manager.
I love Brit Brit- even though I agree she is to blame for her recent public imange;however why the f$@k is her MANAGER the one getting her help.Maybe her own mother and father should have stepped up instead of treating their daughter like a cash cow!!
A real Woman takes responsibility for her OWN actions.

This pathetic loser has no one to blame but herself. She was never talented in the first place, so it was just a matter of time before her "fans" grew up and moved on to artists who actually have a singing voice. Wish she would disappear from public life, do us all a favor.
As someone with bipolar disease myself, I truly believe Brit is suffering from a mental illness and needs medication and therapy. Manic episodes manifest in many ways, and the stress of childbirth, dealing with media, and KFed probably sent her into a manic then depressive state. When you're manic, you do everything to the extreme, and take risks you normally wouldn't. This girl needs help, not criticism.

This is pretty silly...I think that her reputation was pretty ruined when she shaved her head and started flashing her "lady bits" all around town. I can't imagine all the crap she has going on in her life but I can't think its all Larry's fault. That girl is a hot mess right now!

She already lost the kid battle. Kevin has the kids 4 days out of the week, she only 3. But, I don't see her doing anything those 3 but letting the nannie handle things. Still can't picture this girl changing a stinky diaper, giving a bath, or anything motherly for that matter. Oh no, we'll be seeing these kids go wild in 16 years, and it'll be all over the tabloids.... let's try NOT to be surprised.
A real woman takes care her kids, Brit, whether she's a SAHM or a WOHM. She'd have had a better relationship with her dad if she'd laid off the sauce & drugs. It's impossible to have any kind of relationship with an addict.

I think that her Mother should have just left Britney married to the first man, a friend from high school, that she married in Las Vegas. Isn't everybody happy when someone who has had everything handed to them -- fame, fortune, success -- ends up on their ass.
