I'm just sad that what was supposed to be strong women discussing issues has become children fighting. Is this why it's so hard for women to move forward in showbiz? Is this the proof that they really are hard to work with? Women's movement my ass...they just moved back a few steps.

I've been watching this show everyday for months. Rosie always gives Elisabeth a chance to speak which shows respect for other people's opinions. So when people comment that Rosie is a bully they are flat out wrong. In fact, if you watch the show you will see that Elisabeth continually interrupts Joy when she disagrees with her so that Joy is not able to make her point. On Wednesday's show, Elisabeth showed an angrier side of herself and Rosie did not interrupt her or disrespect her for being angry. She allowed Elisabeth to be angry and say her peace. And then she brought up the issue of Elisabeth making this personal, rather than just a discussion and Elisabeth basically confirmed that she doesn't respect Rosie. It's good to get it out there if that's the case. Also, I think it's true that it doesn't matter how Rosie really conducted herself b/c people will keep writing insulting and attacking things of her. It's too bad. She's got a history of charitability and good deeds.

What I'm learning about Republicans these days is that they simply cannot defend their choice, the president, or the war. Rosie was right on this issue, and Elizabeth did not defend what she could not defend. Simple as that. There simply is no defense for invading a country, watching 650,000 of their citizens slaughtered, and 3,000 of our troops killed as well, while the pres. and his cronies get filthy rich. I work with a chick exactly like Elizabeth, who gets all upset anytime someone talks about Bush.... she usually leaves the room, because just like Elizabeth she has no defense either.

(CBS/AP) Rosie O'Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck have had their last heated argument on "The View."

ABC has announced that O'Donnell won't be returning to the show. A network executive says O'Donnell told ABC that she'd like "an early leave." Her contract was up June 22.

The executive says the network thanked O'Donnell for "her tremendous contribution" to the show.

O'Donnell decided not to return after she and Hasselbeck had a huge blowout on the show Wednesday. O'Donnell was upset because Hasselbeck didn't defend her when conservatives accused her of calling U.S. troops terrorists. O'Donnell says they misinterpreted her words.

ABC cancels an excellent show like the "George Lopez Show" and they keep garbage like "The View" on air?! What an insult. I hear ABC substituted a show featuring the GEICO cavemen for the "George Lopez Show." Perhaps they can take over "The View" too and discuss how stupid and selfish modern man has become LOL.

What I find so upsetting about this whole conflict between Rosie and Elisabeth is the fact that whenever Rosie voices her opinions, she is met with personal attacks having to do with her looks, her sexual orientation or her weight. Rosie might sometimes speak out of turn but she is a voice for many who wouldn't otherwise be heard and for that I am thankful. She also does a lot of good for a lot of people. Elisabeth is petite, cute, blonde and perfect in every way our society measures perfection. She has no reason to rock any boats because she stands to benefit the most by maintaining the status quo. Not only that, she is irritatingly perky and smug. I think their argument was childish at best and a cheap attempt at getting media attention at worst. The two should agree to disagree and leave it at that.

Rosie said she would try not to argue with Elizabeth after she announced she was pregnant and that is probably why she left the show early. Ever since then Lizzie has gone over the top with her ridiculous "Lizzie Facts". Dear BC - Elizabeth first came into public view about 5 years ago as a contestant on SURVIVOR, believe it or not. Then, she got her claws around NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck, and married him. Then, for some odd reason, she was offered this gig on The View (you tell me why, because I still don't get that one, unless a casting couch was involved). She is untalented, uneducated, and a conservative bore. When she opens that mouth and those minnie-mouse stupid views come flowing out, most of the country change the channel immediately. Once the network figures that out, she can once again crawl under the rock from where she came.
