A Bash for the Beckhams
Make sure you get your mail today, kids. Apparently, red velvet, gold lettered invites have been sent out for the Poshest (pun intended) party in town.
David and Victoria Beckham have been in the states for a full minute and their big star buds have decide to throw them a "Welcome to America" bash. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, along with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, are hosting the event on Sunday and sources are buzzing that half of Hollywood has been invited.
Immediately what comes to mind are those terribly spoiled kids from MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen, who go to school with some sort of entourage and call out the names of the invitees. The ones that are privileged enough to get invited are so happy that they, while those that are left out are humiliated in front of the whole school and left to feel bad about themselves. Anyone else see the parallel?

That is nice of them to do that for the Beckhams.
okay, David Beckham is hot but seriously now, why is it such a big deal that they have moved to America? It's nice of their friends to throw them a housing warming party but Victoria and the Spice Girls - were they really that impressive? i think not!
You just wait - the Beckhams are going to be the biggest news story for ages. Anyway, you sent us Britney and Paris, so Victoria is our revenge.
I have to admit that I didn't like "Posh" very much because all I ever saw were pics of her with that "horrible frown" on her face...But I watched "NBC" on Monday night...She was actually "funny"...I found myself "warming" up to her...She made me laugh a lot to...She also seems to be a great "mom"...Don't get me wrong, she is still a "spoiled little diva"...But I think I like her now...:)
She's growing on me to BB. I especially like the fact that she dissed Paris on the whole friendship thing. She said they had absolutely nothing in common, and you will never see her falling out of a club without her "knickers". I love the way she talks. It seems like she has a good sense of humor.
Saw the girl throw out the first pitch at the game the other day --wow -- still think she's cute - welcome to America dear Victoria .
Its nice of them to give the Becks a more formal welcome. I like the Becks and hope that everything works out for them. As you guys said Victoria seems to be a fun person. So she does have a sense of humour huh. Hooray to the Becks.
QT -- we watched that game and saw her , too -- I like that English accent - from what I have seen on the telly - she looks like a fun person . The boys look healthy and well cared for .
Hey you software warriors -- I got my invite -- what happened ? Were you overlooked or blackballed ? Vickie is the best lookin' thing to come along for while .
I didn't like her at first because I assumed from her photos that she was stuck up or mean or something, but I've seen her reality show premiere and she was on Jay Leno last week and I just love her now! Welcome to America Beckhams!
Seriously who cares. David is so hot but who cares if his wife follows him around all the time! Who cares if they getting a party. Big deal get over it. When they get divorced put me on best week ever on Vh1 so I can laugh at it and make jokes about it.
Barn old bud - my invite got lost in the mailroom -dang it . Love that Victoria -- hope she has fun at the party - give her a big hug for me .
Saw the show... OMFG!! Send them BACKKKK!! Well her anyway. Shesh she gives off the sir of I'm better then you. The show is a flop. GOOD :-) ABC will pull it and 99% of America will be happy.
I bet it's a hit
Nothing is more capable of clouding our reason , than jealousy . Welcome to the American way of life Beckham family .
