Lindsay's New Movie Shuts Down
Has Lindsay Lohan's alleged drinking and drugging ruined her movie career?
Well, it's not looking promising. Lindsay was set to start production of the film Poor Things with Shirley McClaine as soon as she was released from rehab, but after continue to club hop this weekend, sources close to the film say Lindsay's too much of a risk for the film's insurance companies. According to Page Six, an alleged email from the set designer on the flick said this:
"Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news, but I just received a call from Jacky Gilardi, the producer, pulling the plug on the ill-fated film. Apparently, Ms. Lohan's antics in Las Vegas over the weekend have scared the bond companies and all of the funding has been pulled"
A friend of Lindsay's says that it's all rubbish, and that the starlet was not to blame for the collapse of the film. "She had nothing to do with that movie shutting down. It was a mess to begin with. They randomly fired Channing Tatum for Giovanni Ribisi, and then financing fell through because producers spent money like water. It was only supposed to cost $4 million - Lindsay was being paid nothing for that role."
If Lindsay's career is tanking before she deals with the legal aftermath of her DUI arrest and the cocaine found in her car, Poor Things might just be the right name for LiLo's biography.

Why did Lindsays "friend" say that it wasn't about her if this was quoted? She blew it big time! Stay out of the bars, Lindsay, and reflect!
Its amazing how they blame the studios for Lindseys flops and roles falling thru.. Lets see Georgia rule with two academy award winners and yet it did awful due to problems on the set with Lindsay partying. On the set of Edge of Love with Keira Knightley she was let go.. due to her partying she could not fulfill her commitment to the role so she was replaced but sienna miller. Her publicists and mom keep denying she has a problem when everyine has pics of this girl taking drugs and abusing alcohol. The rehab stint was to clean her up a bit.. damage control but I doubt she will get any work or that anyone will be willing to work with her. She is a has been.
Anyone as sick of hearing the name Lindsey as I am?

Only when she stops blaming everyone around her for her misfortunes & acknowledge she REALLY is the problem will she start recovering. Maybe then she might see she needs to change not only for her career but also for her well being.

I personally like Lindsays movies, I know that what she did was wrong and its no better than what Paris did.She is talented and what she is doing is wrecking her life and career when its just really getting started as an adult.I hope taht she gets it together soon.
It is too bad she allows herself to become an insurance risk and just stays away from Vegas and the bars until she can control herself.She has not been sober long enough to be around booze again.It could happen her mother may need to get a job to support her if she loses her career. She needs to get a grip. Take control of herself. I don't think she's trying too hard. If she doesn't change, the studios will be dropping her in addition to the insurance companies, and she will be out of work altogether. Too bad, but she brought it all on herself.

THE LITTLE STINTS YOU DID JUST DIDN'T WORK SO IF YOU CAN'T LEAVE THE BOOZE ALONE ON SHEER WILLPOWER AND A DESIRE TO BE DONE WITH IT, USE REHAB, BUT STAY LONG ENOUGH FOR IT TO BE EFFECTIVE AND DON'T LEAVE IF YOUR'E NOT READY. I'M IN RECOVERY AND IF I CAN DO IT AFTER 30 YRS. OF ADDICTION, SO CAN YOU DEAR.
