Paris and Nicole Get Canned
Unless they were planning on doing The Simple Life: Cell Mates, it's a good thing that E! has cancelled the reality shtick that stars Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
A source at the network tells Us Weekly that overexposure is to blame for the show's demise. "We felt like the real life drama of their lives overshadowed anything happening on the show," says the insider. "Viewers would see Paris all day long on the news about her going to jail, so they didn't care about seeing her camping with kids. It just was too played out."
Ya think? That's the smartest thing I've heard about Paris, um, let me think...EVER!
But the insider also said that it wasn't the heiress that was the troublemaker last season. "Paris carried the show. She was the one willing to do anything," says the source. "Nicole was the diva."
Probably because Nicole was so over the whole "sidekick" thing and looking forward to planning her new life as wife and mother with her bf Joel Madden. Or because she knew she was going to jail --- for real. Whatever, the bottom line is that the show is done and it's just one less half hour we'll have to see or hear Paris and Nicole "pretend" to be clueless.
And let us all say, "Amen."

Oh man, and to think they could've done The Simple Life: A month at Promises. Dangit!
You know stephanopoulos - those rehabs in la la land are not like the ones in our "neck of the woods" - the ones they go to are the Hilton Hotels . Plush accomadations , gourmet food , etc. And these gals are becoming a little old - however , they are still talk show fodder .
I too , would like to turn on the boob tube and watch something besides the "woes" of these hollywood babes and their run ins with the law .

I saw one episode and wanted to scream! Little beauty queens... from ages 5-8 just being cute little girls. While Paris and Nicole sat there and judged these innocent little girls the whole time. What a waste.
I'm so sick and tired that these two spoiled, coked up brats get so much undeserved attention. Their lives don't carry any positive or educational messages to younger generations, except the latest fashion trends. Well, we have Vogue and top models for that. Those two should retire.
I don't know about the top models Natalie -- they are becoming just as bad --- and yes - I am tired of seeing these two ditz's dominating the news and TV ---- enough already .
Just gotta agree with you there lemonpie -- seems like the models are getting off on the bad stuff . too . Oh well -- we still have the good girls down at the pump house .
Its true, that show was nothing but a lot of ridiculous piled all into one big mess! The couple of times I caught it, surfing the channels, they would usually be saying something absolutely out of this world, especially if any tweens were watching, not good!! Everyone knew it couldn't possibly last much longer!

Paris loses her show,plus the $59,000,000.CONRAD HILTON reportedly has cut her out of, because she has trashed the Hilton name. Now I'm even feeling sorry for the dumbass. Kachink,what else is she getting ready to lose. Who said crime doesn't pay. Is she or isn't she not the all time loser. Can't say she doesn't deserve it. It's too bad the other grandchilren are going to feel the same rath, they don't deserve it.' Hoorah for charity.

watched it first season several times it stunk and thats really being to kind they are the biggest bimbos and rude too.
