So sorry to hear about this. I love his work to date and hope he recovers soon. I'm also happy to see so many people supporting him via your comment board. Just goes to show you that we are ALL human and have problems every now and then.

i lost my brother 2 years ago. i hope he realizes that the pain that he feels will pass. but the pain he could have left with his family,friends, and fans would never go away. i am so glad his brother saved him. i wish i had that chance for my brother. that pain is still something i cant get over. god was watching over him giving him a second chance. amen

I believe it is the opposite. If a person commits suicide, it is because there is no hope. I believe that person thinks there family will not miss them.

Give him time like he has asked for. This is one lucky guy who has his family around him in his time of need, also his friends are around him. Just bcause we see him on a big screen does not make him special, nope he goess out and gives up the biggest thing he has to offer that is laugher, boy do we enjoy his movies. Also unlike so many who would of went under the knife to make him like a clone is it wrong?? nope not a blond but a redhead. Okay he has given so much of his self and when one can laugh you feel so much better. It is great to see his groupp of friends and family . Give the guy time to heal and give him time to rest up as before we know of it he will be back a what he does best he gives us a bit of him and makes our world a little better to place to live even if it is only for 45mins. it 45mins of laughing - something I am sure that those close to him will give back. Lord I wish I had close net of friend that really care and not just for his money.

I am so sorry for my bluntness, but life is way to incredibly and wonderful to throw it away.
I know because I was there at one time so close to death and soooo alone. The invisible blade of a knife, burned so deep into my heart, I just wanted the burning pain to stop in my chest.
My husband had suffered a sever Brain injury due from a lack of oxygen. I was left at the age of 38 fending for my family alone, I had four children, one year old twins and now a husband that had the mentality of an four year old.
He was a big man and would become incredibly violent at times and hard to handle. But I loved him so much and missed him incredibly!
His eyes once had laughter and sparkle in them. But after his brain injury they became dull and vacant looking.
I would watch him sleep at night and strangely he looked exactly they way he looked before his brain injury. I would lay my head on his should and pretend that nothing had happened to him.
I loved and missed him so much. But I didn’t know how I was going to provide for my children plus take care of this uncontrollable stranger.
That was eleven years ago, My three boys have families of there own, my twins are now 12, and I have a daughter who is graduating this year. Who absolutely think’s your are incredible! As I always have.
You made so much sorrow leave not only our lives, but many other peoples lives. By helping us to laugh and forget our problems for that moment in time.
You have a gift of making people laugh. That is how I actually survived. Laughter is the best medicine, along with nothing but pure positive thoughts. The more I wanted to wallow in my despair the more despair I received.
I looked to religion, to counseling, to the Power Ball for help, Ha. To absolutely no avail.
You know what helped is realizing that God has gave me a mind to dream with and to love with! He didn’t give me a mind to waste on worry and pain.
So I started to do things that made me smile, like watching little humming birds wiz around the humming bird feeder, hug my little Chihuahuas, making up exciting fun stories for my kids and my grand kids.
Pet my monkey as often as I could…. Actually I do have a monkey so please don’t take that the wrong way, ha.
Now when I walk alone in the woods and feel the warm summers breeze on my face and see the wind move through the trees.
I am amazed!
I thank God for my life and I thank God he has made my dreams come true.
But mostly, I thank God for showing me to believe and trust in myself to make my life worth living and to enjoy this incredible ride called life!
You’re way to Handsome and Talented to give up on your dreams now! Because you know as well as I do, you’re excitement and you’re dreams are what got you this far already.

Just goes to show....that no matter what status or background in life someone comes from....whether PhD or XYZ....we are all human. He's no different and needs his space and privacy to sort his life out. Privacy is a very important issue right now....which his lifestyle doesn't necessarily afford right now. Owen, I struggled alot with addiction/alcoholism. Been clean/sober almost 8 yrs. now and am very happy. God is working in my life and at 37 about to have my first child....a son. I will be a single mother, father not in picture. I struggle with life, even felt like checking out.....but look at the miracles I would miss out on.
