David Letterman's Date with Oprah Winfrey
Dave... Oprah. Oprah... Dave.
Circle September 10 on your calendars, David Letterman fans. The press shy king of late night TV is going daytime... for one day only. He'll be guesting on Oprah when she brings her show to New York.
These two have a long history. Lady O appeared on Dave's show years ago, then became annoyed with the funnyman for jokes he made about her on "the program." So when O turned down a few visits to be a guest on his show, Dave waged a campaign to get her on. Every night he'd talk to sidekick Paul Shaffer about having Oprah on the show. Finally, O gave in. She appeared on his show in December 2005, the night her Broadway play The Color Purple debuted right near his midtown Manhattan studio. They also appeared together in a hilarious Super Bowl commercial.
So I'm looking forward to this... and hope my strange celebrity crush Dave is at least a little serious. Would love to hear more about his son, Harry, longtime girlfriend... as well as all those crazy stalkers he has.

I use to like opray until she said she didn't help her family because they needed to help themselves. Here's a billionaire living in two 50 million plus homes that doesn't care about family, only money. No wonder Stedman took his 250,000,000 and ran. As she said, she doesn't need a man for full fillment, evidently she does't need family either.
I totally agree with ya there dr. Something about her just irks me.
I have tried to watch her on the telly , but she seems the egotist . I have TiVoed the Letterman show only when he has someone to my liking on there .

I didn't know he left either. I think that's when the rumors started that she was gay and her bff Gayle was her lover.
hmmm -- I'm not a fan of her's so am never in the loop - and now she's gay -- eeeuuu .
Oprah and Stedman are still together and as much as I don't like her she is not gay. She is however egotistical. Whenever she does ANYTHING for anyone she always mentions how much she paid for it. And if anyone has a sad story to tell you can bet it has happened to her to. And lastly she builds a school for orphaned children in South Africa and in doing so puts down our education system by commenting that our children are not grateful.....maybe if more rich celebrities invested in our children and their education they would show their gratititude.

I am with you all O has changed through the years, she lost a few pounds(okay more than a few) but her head got really big.. what is wrong with helping people in your own country... there are starving sick, and abused kids right in here... give some credit at least she is helping someone..
Can you say Leoni Hemsley. Just as selfish and greedy. Susposedly stedman is hanging around as her best friend. Pay off is to get him out so she can be on her own. Gay I doubt, ever bi-sexual? maybe. That would fit in the star mode.
I would have never thought to compare O to Leoni....I'll have to think about that some more....

Okay I thought about it and I don't think that I have ever seen O be mean to anyone, but on her roadtrip thing with gaymate Gayle she did have a stuck up thing about her but ohh she did like it when people would recognize her and make a big fuss over her..I think she turly is in love with HERSELF!! poor sted has/ had no chance...

Think about this: Big business leaves the states for bankok or where ever to get dirt cheap prices on labor, follow my drift. Makes billions on labor while screwing the american workers. Now here's opray going to africa to set up an orpanage, great impact, low costs, she's a hero. Why not the united states? Their are black people in the united states that are below poverty. Hundredes of ghettos.The rub, it would cost her 4 or 5 times the amount she would pay in africa for every location. When is the last time you saw anyone come into the united states and do anything for the poor. Now we got the stars sensations running around the world trying to get everyone to adopt a baby. Why not keep our ass's at home and take care of americans for once.
