I didn't see any thing about the fines or payola she had to pay. You can only imagine what that cost her and rightly so. Actually resa, Paris went to jail because she violated her probation, not directly because of a dui. People forget that. If Lindsey breaks her probation, she'll most likely do serious time too. Paris got probation for her dui, not jail time, just like Lindsey. then, she broke her probation by driving on a suspended license.

no way she got the same as a normal person would get. my husband had 1 dui and a reckless driving charge for changing lanes with out using a turn signal and he got 15 days in jail, 1700.00 fine, and his license was suspended for 30 days tell me that is normal for what she got, especially on 7 counts and was under drugs and alcohol?luckily his reckless was dropped or who knows what else he would ofgotten, he is no famous person, normal, unlike lindsay is she got away with it and she will do it over and over again, just like paris, nichole, and all the others who believe i can becasue i am who i am,

This judge is pathetic... hmmm…. If we all had fame and fortune then we too could run around in our cars drunk with cocaine and not have to worry. But then again I for one am not that selfish to do something like that and jeopardize taking someone’s love one away from them... RIDICULOUS!

They have a problem and someone should through the book at them and get them some help before they kill someone. Non-celebrities should be so lucky by receiving only 1 day of jail time for DUI. Don't we all wish we could be given those type of sentences?

Hey Guys, More than the jail time, Linds is getting the probation and the help she so desperatly needs. She has to attend an alcohol ed. program for 18 months and more than that, is that she is NOT to be around anyone with controlled substances. That one, is the hard one because most of those guys she hangs with do that. So she will either stay away or go to jail, directly to jail. Lets see, eh?

There's no doubt about it...she got off very easily. I know a quite a few people who have had a DUI and have spent years paying for their mistake (not necessarily in jailtime, but in fines, probation, suspended licenses, and not to mention the mark left on their driving record). She definitely needs to take responsibility for her actions and pay the price...sadly, this slap on the wrist may not be her last entangle with the law. Let's hope she's smarter than that and will learn from her mistake.

I think it fair to say that the next time lindsay gets herself into trouble, god forbidding she kills or injures anyone, that ALL the judges & district attorneys that let her off with just a slap on her hand in the past cases should ALL go to jail with her.

Well I think that is a travisty this young woman has done nothing but break law after law an she knew she would only get little or no time.The courts in Ca. are a little different then in the real world crime is so high that they just dont have the room for non violent people.Even though she is sooner or later going to kill someone or herself due to her selfishness an lack of careing for anyone else other than herself.Lindsey knows to get in rehab an then get a good lawyer let him handle it.So the next time she screws up which she will maybe the court system will just finally have enough an put her butt where it belongs in jail.Maybe just maybe the people who are with her when she goes on her drinking slumber they to be held responsible for contributing to a mess.
