Lindsay Lohan's Dad to Make Rehab Visit
It looks like Lindsay Lohan is taking steps to rehabilitate her relationship with her father, Michael Lohan. Page Six is reporting that Lindsay's older brother suggested a meeting between the two. "It's a part of the healing process," a friend said. "Lindsay will see him later this week, but she will have counselors with her. It will not be alone."
In order for her dad to get clearance to visit her in her Utah digs, Lindsay's mom, Dina Lohan, needed to lift a restraining order she had against her ex. "Dina thinks it is a good idea," the friend said. "Lindsay needs to deal with this and needs closure." Michael, who has had a past with drugs and alcohol, has said he's been sober and found God since leaving jail earlier this summer.
A rep for the Lohans said, "Yes, he will be seeing his daughter."

Isn't that the pits ? everyone in trouble always seems to "find god" -- stupid !
I thought rehab was more or less a confidential process. Yet, we seem to know all about Ms. Lohan's stint. Hope she can get it together--her life depends on it.

Lindsays Dad seems way more normal and sensible then her idiot Mom.
Her Dad seems to geniunely care about her getting better. Dina just seems to pretend their world is wonderful and everyone is in a wonderful place, Lindsays friend make up lies about her blah blah blah.... all while she gets her money and invites to the A list parties from Lindsay.
Now Dina wants to mold her younger children into stars bc that life has been so great for Lindsay?
I think Lindsay should get rid her Mom and lean on her Dad.
Even though he has not been an angel, he seems to have redeemed himself, and just want to be her Dad, and not on her payroll.
Tamara, I agree with you 100%! Lindsay is NOT going to get better with her mom lingering around. Her dad seems like a genuine guy.
i think britney spears is an example of how when kids start getting some attention (when the tabloids were raving about how cute her son was) people get "just a tad strange" to keep them in the spotlight. the LiLo mama...is proof.
To bad Lindsays mom can't learn a few things from the dad. Jail does make people change. I know at first hand. I have never been in jail but know people that have been. They come back completely different, and usually for the better. Her seeing her dad is part of the 12 step program. I give Linsay my prayers and I pray for her family as well. I think her mom needs a little threapy though. I don't know how Linds feels about her mother but, they both need to come together and be responsible adults and be there for there daughter and the other children as well. I am sure the other siblings are taking it hard too.
