Richard Gere: An Officer and a Grandpa?
The once-young and virile Richard Gere was looking very much like my grandpa yesterday, at the NYC premiere of The Hunting Party. Remember when he fell in love with hooker-with-a-heart-gold, Julia Roberts, in Pretty Woman, and when he literally swept Debra Winger off her feet in An Officer and a Gentleman? He's still handsome, but I'm pretty sure if Richard lifted anything close to Debra now it would be Ben-Gay city for weeks.

I guess we can't expect them to be young forever. *sigh* He's still hot though. Loved him in "Unfaithful."
If Richard Gere looked younger, you'd be criticizing him for having plastic surgery, etc. Either way, no one can win with you guys. Must be a slow news day. By the way, I'm not a big Richard Gere fan, so am looking at this objectively.

Even as a great grand-pa, Richard Gere will look great. Have you seen those eyes,ageless.For me, except for those strands of grey, he doesn't look different from his time in 'pretty woman'
I was never a Gere fan either -- did like the movie where he plays a "bad cop" ---- Arnold is more my speed .

What do you expect? The man is almost 58 years old. You're obviously not the type who allows people to age gracefully and naturally.
I think he's still got it. He is very handsome. Along with Harrison Ford.

I just can not warm up to these old blokes . I do like them in the cinema , though . Richard Gere reminds me of me pater .

Christ, we all age at the same rate! As he is getting older, so are we! But I think he looks great, like Sean Connery, Anthony Hopkins, Harrison Ford. No way do I think he needs plastic surgery, that only ruins people. He's definitely still Richard.
