Heidi Montag Talks Plastic Surgery

Heidi Montag Talks Plastic Surgery
It's no secret that The Hills's Heidi Montag has confidence issues -- I mean, what other reason would she possibly marry that hideous Spencer Pratt -- but the cover of this week's US Weekly just screams desperation.

Heidi opens up about her plastic surgery -- a breast enlargement and nose job -- that, until now, she's been coy about. Lauren Conrad's former BFF says that she made these changes to her body because boys always made fun of her for having a big schnoz and being flat chested.

"People would say,“You have such a big nose!" And they’d make fun of me for being so flat, and say mean boy things, like, 'If you nailed two nails in a board, they would be bigger than you are.' I was tormented. And when I was older, I’d want to be intimate, but I’d feel insecure. My boyfriends always had bigger chests than I did!'"

Well, that's a pleasant image.

Heidi goes on to say that Spencer had nothing to do with her decision to get surgery, even though he has a major thing for Playboy bunnies, and that if she didn't wake up from the surgery it was still worth it. I swear!

She makes me want to vomit.

I have sadly become a thirty year old that can't get enough of "The Hills". That Spencer is such a d*ck.

She looks nice. Don't know who her husband is, but he sounds like an idiot.

I haven't seen the show whatsoever so I don't know this chic. Plastic surgery is okay by me if that's what the person wants. However, some people look idiotic when they go too far. Lisa Rinna's lips come to mind.

Jackie said:

lol--Lisa Rinna's lips!! True!!

Never saw the show she's on, but she does look great. If someone were to condemn all of Hollywood for plastic surgery, we'd all be watching PBS.

Panda said:

I just think it's sad that her reasons for the surgery and low self-esteem came from outside sources... "people said you have a big nose, boys said I was flat"... I'm not too into it. Honestly, however, I think now she just looks like any typical blond California beauty

Holly said:

I liked her old nose

Meg said:

She said it was worth it even if she hadn't come out of the surgery? Man, she's got issues.

I LOVE The Hills....but HATE Heidi!!

Seriously! Any girl who would dump her best friend for some lame guy (especially one like Spencer) is totally lame!!

Too bad she is going to be the last one to see what everyone else knows he is like!!

I know a lot of people dislike her but I just feel sorry for her. She clearly has a lot of self-esteem issues and needs a ton of validation. Unfortunatly, she seems to need it from all the wrong people. I think Spencer is just going to tear her down and there isn't going to be anyone to help build her back up again. I've seen this happen to other girls like her. It's really sad. Thank God she has a strong family unit and they'll still be there for her when this is over because she doesn't really have any more friends.

I have seen the show, and im not a fan of hers. She is a b**ch to ppl that cared about her. And puleeezzzz your going to tell me that you got plastic surgery cause boys use to make fun of you??? how freakin lame!!!! Who the heck cares what some dumb boys in grade school said about you? She has issues and all the plastic surgery in the world cant cure them.

maggietalk said:

I do watch the show and never once did I notice that she had these issues that she is saying, there was never any sign of low-sef esteem... but I do notice them know she is constantly questioning herself, hopefully she'll open her eyes wide before she walks down and says a I do!!!

For those of you criticizing her for being made fun of for being flat-chested, you have obviously never been in this situation. i was made fun of by people back in high school for the same reason, and the comments about being flat-chested continued into my adult life. it sticks with you and KILLS any feelings of self worth that you may have and makes you feel like you're less of a woman. I had a boob job at the age of 31 (and I'm happily married) and it is the first time in my life that I am truly happy with myself. Sure, we should all find our happiness from other sources besides our looks, but let's face it - we live in a shallow society that values beauty.

LoveMyImplants

you found a guy who married you despite your percieved shortcomings BUT you still needed the boob job to feel good about yourself and happy?

So a wonderful guy who loves you for who you are and accepted your body as is doesn't do enough to make you feel happy about yourself?

THAT is a really sad.

Stephanopoulos said:

Lovemyimplants: Sorry to hear you were teased. We've all been there for one reason or another. It's too bad that other people influenced how you felt about yourself. Glad you are happy now.

There are some things I don't like about myself and if I had the money, I'd probably get work done too.

cuteness said:

It sucks that she was teased but I've been teased to for being small chested too and I have no plans what so ever to run out and get boob job. Ppl need to get over it, seriously. If your going to let other ppl influence how you feel about your self then that's just sad and I don't think any type of surgory is gonna fix the problem

Yeah we're in a shallow society and you totally contribute to that.
You have what you have and you work it.

You add to portion that believes bigger breast are better instead of rocking the breast that you had.
It seems weak to me.
I have my flaws but I totally rock what I have and lack there of. I hate excuses like that.
Married, engaged, single whatever it's sad when someone can't look at themselves and love it.
I see kids in 3rd world countries with a clif lip or some other REAL disadvantage and then I see those women with fake breasts, noses and lips and think how they could have donated that money to a real cause.

Whatever... go sleep well with your thousands of dollars gone to waste all so you can have some clevage!!!

Hey Heidi..change your situation and hang out with people of substance, values and morals. LO doesn't seem to have body issues or if she does, she NEVER made you feel bad about who you are! BTW, glad we have strong beautiful woman like Sandra Bullock, Kate Hudson, Maria Menounos, and Mariska Hargitay. They don't feel the need to change..WHY..'cause they follow the best advice around for anyone: "sticks and stones may break their bones, but NAMES will NEVER hurt them" (HEIDI maybe you should learn to say, repeat and live by this great advice)..oh yeah, your mama told it to me..too bad you didn't listen to her...I knew you were a L O S E R!

lovemyimplants said:

Lindsey, just to make it clear - I chose my plastic surgeon because he donates his time and skills in third world countries to perform surgeries on children with cleft palates (if you're going to insult me, at least use a dictionary) and other deformities. I knew what I was doing was selfish but at least the money I spent was going to help this surgeon perform charitable work. And, yes, I wish that what other people said about me didn't influence how I felt about myself but it did and now I am finally happy with my physical appearance. We are all different and make our own decisions for our own reasons. Maybe you should realize that we're all entitled to our own opinions and decisions. And it is people like you who hurl insults at others that contribute to the poor self image that so many young kids (both male and female) have today.

I think plastic surgery is just fine if it gives you more confidence in yourself! But, to do it for someone other than yourself is plain idiotic!

Lovemyimplants I think it's lame and presumptuous to assume that those of us who were against this have "never known what it's liked to be teased or flat-chested"...Hello, totally flat chested over here and proud of it

HELLO!! People stop bickering against each other and act like adulds here.Everyone has the right to make their own decision in life.If they share their experiences or opnion with us that does not mean we should critisize them or try to make them feel bad.

Heidi is a LOSER said:

Heidi is a loser no matter what she does. Breast implants or not, marrying Spencer or not. She's a spoiled, immature idiot and I hope life comes back to bite her in the ass. Which it obviously will since she's engaged to an even bigger loser than she is, who will definitely cheat on her AND she backstabbed all of her friends so no one will be there to pick up the pieces.

ppl need to calm the heck down said:

EVERYONE has faults! Nobody came out of their mother's womb absolutely picture-perfect. And that's what makes us different than everyone else. If you want some doctor to cut you open just so that you can look like everyone else, i think that is the stupidest, most ridiculous thing ever!
However, if you have a fault that is preventing you from living your life to the fullest, i really couldn't care less if you go under the knife.

Heidi should have known better.. said:

well, i think Heidi made a stupid disicion. Whats the point in spending all that money on that when everyone dies one day.. It's sad to say but true.
Imagine how that influences (youger girls) who watch the hills!
I personely think it was an idiotic idea and she she should have known better.
