White Stripes Cancel Tour Dates Due to "Health Issues"
"Meg White is suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time," Meg and Jack White said Tuesday in a posting on their Web site. "We hate to let people down and are very sorry."

Anyway, this news is especially sucky for my two friends Kruse and LC (yes, like the girl from The Hills). Later this week they're flying from New York to Austin for the Austin City Limits music festival. The main reason they're going was to see the Stripes. But on the "Mr. Brightside," my pals still get to see my beloved Brandon Flowers and The Killers perform, so I just can't feel that bad for them. Send photos, kids.

I hear that anxiety can get pretty bad, I truly hope that she gets better!!! I have a friend dealing with it is a terrible thing to have to deal with!!
I will take a lot of pics. My question is she's been in a band for 10 yrs and not develops anxiety.
Yeah, at first I was bummed out, the Stripes put on such intensely rockin' shows! But I'm over it now... there was 130 bands, now there are 129. Yeah, I think there will be more than ample enough for me to do :)

yeah i live here in austin. the city's not too happy. the line up is kinda lame this year and they were a major highlight.
Wow, I suffer from anxiety and I didn't travel by plane for about five years. It totally sucks. I finally flew this year, thanks to therapy and my good friend Xanax but hey I managed to fly cross country so that's a start. I hope she gets help because it can become very crippling if left un treated.
