David Hasselhoff Hospitalized After Relapse
We're not sure if David Hasselhoff was as drunk as he was during the "hamburger eating incident," but the actor has reportedly been on a bender and has been hospitalized.
"David had a brief relapse and immediately recognized the importance of addressing it with the assistance of his doctors. He is doing fine and will be back home in the morning,” his rep Judy Katz told Access Hollywood.
The story was first reported by The National Enquirer, whose source said David was not doing well when he was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
“He looked awful when they brought him in. His color was ashen. He felt sick. It was just so sad.”
The man's got demons that he just can't beat. Get well, Hoff.

We are finally getting the old Knight Rider reruns in this "neck of the woods" and can't believe this is the same man . He certainly is throwing his life away and I hope he wakes up and realizes it .
I thought he was doing so good, vacationing with his kids, I didn't know you could be admitted to the hospital for falling off the wagon?
Good morning maggietalk and stephanopoulos (where ever you are) - kinds sounds like something else - drugs maybe ? He has been on the sauce for years - maybe that habit is too hard to break .
It's a good thing America's Got Talented is over for the season. Or maybe David is professional enough so that his problem doesn't interfere with a work commitment. You have to feel sorry for him--I know I do. Hope this doesn't affect custody of the daughters. Isn't their mom involved with drugs herself?

The daughters are both teenagers. Oh, I meant to say America's Got Talent -- not America's Got Talented. I hate typos, don't you?
So you figure if his daughters are teens they can pretty much say if they want to be around there dad or not, they understand things!!!
About teenagers - the fellow who set up my computer told me : if your teenagers tell you they know all about computers - they don't . I am disappointed in the Hof - he seemed to be coming out of his "funk" or whatever it was .

I am astonished at the ignorance of most of you. Hoff's "funk" is called alcoholism. It's no one's choice to have this, but many do and many are dually addicted (Drugs and Alcohol).I'm not saying he is, I don't know. People who "fall off the wagon" go to the hospital for Detox (to safely get alcohol and/or drugs out of the system). Then begins the slow process of recovery, with a 12-step program at the heart of it. Alcoholism is a disease, not a problem with will-power. Many can recover if they have the capacity to be honest. People like Britney Spears and Lilo (yes, her, too
because I don't believe a word of her recovery lingo) put rehab to shame. They fail because they essentially don't believe they're alcoholic or drug addicts. They don't want help except to get out of legal tangles. For those who want sobriety and have surrendered to the fact they're addicts, who work a 12-step program, they get better, There are millions in the world who are alcoholic, but are living happy sober lives. A grateful,sober one.
maggietalk - We don't have children - don't want any - that statement will open up "cans of worms" - but the world is over crowded now - and we don't want to add any more hominids to the mix . My comment about the Hof still stands .

David Hasselhoff needs to cast himself in the arms of GOD and listen to the word. the best high in life is GOD, and the BIBLE always directs us safely.

Looks like his wife may be getting her custody of the girls back. Good for her.
How the heck did he get sole custody of his kids...I know their teenagers & are at the age where they can pick whom to live with BUT please....did the girls think they needed to stay with their father because they needed to take care of him. Hope that's not the case. He doesn't deserve custody. Can't comment on his ex-wife cuz I don't know her side.
