Is Reese Witherspoon Ready to Come Clean About Jake Gyllenhaal?
Reese Witherspoon visited Ellen DeGeneres's show to promote her new flick, Rendition, and actually commented on her co-star, and rumored boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal.
"Jake's cute," the newly-divorced Reese agreed with Ellen. And though that may seem harmless (and a little lame), if you watch the clip from the show, her romance with Jake is written all over her face. It's actually pretty adorable.
Maybe now that Reese is officially divorced from Ryan Phillippe, and she and Jake have been photographed playing all lovey-dovey in Italy this past weekend, the actress is ready to move on with her life and embrace this relationship. Reese strikes me as a pretty smart cookie who is always looking to protect her kids (take notes, Britney), so it's very possible that she was just waiting for the divorce to be a done deal before going public with Jake.
Anyway, as annoyed as I am with all the celebrities who won't admit obvious things (Jennifer Lopez, I am talking to you), Reese threw us a little bone about her and Jake and I'll take it.

I like Reese. She is very down to earth and really takes wonderful care of her children. I liked that clip, so cute! Ellen knows how to ask the questions!

I too am annoyed at the celeb's that won't admit obvious things (Angelina I am talking to you).
It is really unfortunate that the public thinks that the celebrities today must inform us of things that are private. We would be tight-lipped too if people were hounding us about our private lives, only to turn around and say something bad about us or make fun of us. If Reese and Jake are dating and happy, then good for them. I hope they make it.

I agree with Pandora, i dont think its necessary for celebs to have to make a "statement" to the world every time they get a new boyfriend, or have a child, that is there personal life. And that has nothing to do with acting or singing (or the lack there of). I mean EVERYTHING about there life's are public why would they want to make there personal life public too??? Its none of our business, so just leave them alone.

I think it is great for Reese and Jake. They make a great couple. I would like to see them get married. I also think they deserve kudos in the way they keep their private life private.

In other words, greedy millionaires and billionaires are going to cause the worst economic depression of all time. As their paychecks get bigger and bigger, our economy becomes more unstable. I'm not discounting other major factors like sub-prime or gas prices. But if it weren't for that transfer of wealth, we would have been be OK. Bottom line. The middle class will soon live in poverty because of people like Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, and EVERY CELEBRITY. So don't fall for their 'humanitarian' BS. Its nothing but a tax deductable PR stunt. A lame excuse for their incredible greed. Now, the damage is done. Think crime is bad now? God help us.
