Jake Gyllenhaal & Reese Witherspoon Play Coy at Rendition Premiere
Something's going on between the officially divorced Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal -- we just don't know if it's good or bad.
The on-again-off-again item showed up separately at the NYC premiere of their new flick, Rendition, and avoided even making eye contact with each other on the red carpet. After the screening, Jake and Reese went to their respective corners and chatted with their own peeps.
“At the after party they were both doing their own thing,” a spy told Us Weekly. “They had friends with them and just hung out with them.”
There was one awkward moment, though. “They didn’t even talk to each other at the post-reception except when a photographer pulled them together for a picture with the director—and he was standing in between them,” said another onlooker.
So is there that much bad blood between Reese and Jake, or are they just trying to fool us? “You know how actors are who are in projects together -- they always go up to each other and say, ‘It’s so good to see you!’ For actors to not talk to each other, they have to either hate each other -- which they don’t -- or they’re hiding something.”

Now that they have broken up and gotten back together so many times, I don't care about them anymore. Hmm, maybe that's what they wanted?
I was wondering the same thing about the GG blog. I sent an email yesterday @ Grrl Genius site, but no response as of yet.
I think they are trying to keep their private life private. We all saw the last time they posed together they seemed to be avoiding eachother as well, but later that same week or so they were vacationing together!!!
Like I said the last time this same story was posted about them for another premiere perhaps they are trying to be PROFESSIONAL and keep their private lives out of their working lives!!
You wouldnt expect the "office couple" to hang all over each other during a meeting so why expect two actors who happen to be dating to do the same at a premiere?!

I'm so tired of hearing about these two. I'd rather hear about Brangelina for the 100th time than read about Reese and Jake. BORING!
She appeared on Leno to push Rendition. Interview carefully scripted: no mention of personal life. Talked mainly about her childhood and her children. No mention of their father; it was as if they had been born of artificial insemination and had only a mother. No mention of divorce. No mention of Gyllenhaal romance rumors. Hardly any mention of her new picture either. Used her "good ole Southern gal" personality plus some Elle Wood. Perky and tense, I thought. Probably a control freak. I doubt many men would want to get too close; she might eat them for lunch.
