I would hate to be a celebrity and have to announce to the world that I'm pregnant.... what if something would end up happening (which often does in the 1st trimester, even if you are showing)... to have to go through a public announcement for that would be devastating. Maybe she is just waiting to the right time. Let her and Marc enjoy the newness of it all if it is true.

Why don't they just totally ignore her pregnancy. She's loving all the attention she is getting from the media now - espcially with a new album out. Watch how fast she starts having press conferences about her pregnancy once she sees the spotlight is no longer on her. LOL

I just saw her on Letterman. I didn't know anything about the rumors, but as soon as I saw her I said "she's pregnant"!

Why would she be hiding her pregnancy? Either she wants to get as much publicity as she can out of it or SHE IS NOT!!!!!

Seen her on Letterman last night. Dave tried every thing to get her to talk about her pregnancy and she just smiled much to Daves frustration. Great voice but just kept sepeating the same lyrics over and over. Finally turned her off and went to bed.

I feel that J-lo is holding out on the info for the publicity. She is trying to make a comeback with her music and was recently in my city, AC with her husband. She needs the publicity because there is so much competition out there Beyonce, keisha coles, alicia keys, she is on the bottom of the totem pole compared to them.

I have lost 2 children in the womb and it is very emotional, if she has had un reported misc. then she may want to wait to announce or she may just dig the attention. Frankly with the way the celeb babies get stalked i would be surprised if they didn't put the kid in hiding!!!!!!

I think she's deliberately holding off on the announcement because she's enjoying all the atention that comes along with the speculations.

Has anyone noticed that the current style is loose, flowing shirts? I don't think she looks pregnant in this photo at all. If it turns out she is, then that's awesome for her, but if it turns out she's not, won't everyone on here feel like an idiot for stating unequivocally that she's definitely pregnant?! Maybe she doesn't want to confirm or deny because it's no one's f'n business..

There are obvious reasons for her to want to keep it on the down-LO for the time being.
As women age not only is it harder to conceive a child, but it's easier to lose the baby the first few months of pregnancy.
Besides this is her and marc's life. not yours. So quit harassing the woman, about hiding her life, and about wanting media attention.

When you are in the public eye constantly maybe there are just some things, like being pregnant, that you want to keep for yourself as long as possible. And, being pregnant is a joy that you should have for you/the couple - there comes a point where your private life is yours and not for the rest of the world. Especially with a baby... not everyone wants to parade their parenthood... privacy should be respected.

i think she just likes the attention. no one was paying any attention to her or her new album. it's mostly n spanish, right? if so, most americans don't speak fluent spanish. why would there be that much interest in the album? plus, she's not the greatest singer. this pregnancy mystery is just the perfect opportunity for a pathetic publicity stunt. i hope she has a healthy pregnancy, delivery, and baby (i'd be evil if i didn't). if she REALLY wanted to keep it a secret she wouldn't be all out in the public eye the way she is. didn't see much of her before the belly, did we? pathetic.
