Lindsay Lohan's New Boyfriend!
The actress gave her first post-rehab interview to In Touch Weekly, where she talked about how she's changed, what she hopes to achieve in her new life -- and her new boyfriend. Some highlights:
On changes she's making: “The biggest thing is not being in LA and staying away from the nightlife. Going out all the time was very self-destructive. But there are some things that I can do to make changes and grow up. I want to act like a woman rather than a teenager. I am doing the best I can.”On her estrangement and reconciliation with her dad, Michael Lohan:
“I think the trouble in my family resulted in me rebelling and doing things to get my parents’ attention. But all in all, it’s better for me new to have them [in my life]. It’s healthy.”On rehab:
“It was hard surrendering and having people tell me what to do. It was really humbling for me, but I liked how I was treated as a normal person. I had to look out for myself. It’s been a great experience. I’m really grateful. Everything happens for a reason and I am in the right place now.”On her new rehab love, Riley Giles:
"Yes, I am seeing someone. His name is Riley. I am really happy and taking it day by day.”On what's next for her:
"I’m going to start filming a movie called Dare To Love Me. That should last about two weeks. Then, I am going to spend time with my family. I want to try something different, and do my job and see what that is like.Advice to others:
“Just to stay true to yourself and respect yourself. Don’t do things for the hell of it. Karma’s a big deal, so treat others how you want to be treated."

First thing on the road to recovery is to take responsibility for one's own action's. As an adult you had choices's, as the child it was someone else's fault. If Lindsey didn't learn this it won't be long till she slides again and starts blaming someone else. Good luck Lindsey I'm pulling for you.

I think its great for her to be with someone who understand what her issues are rather than another "Hollywood hunk" who is all about the clubbing night-life that could potentially drag her down the wrong path again!!
She sounds like she has did some maturing in the rehab, only time will tell. I think it might be soon for a boyfriend she needs to concentrate on herself, I am glad that she has chosen to let her father back into her life...
I am hoping the father will lead a stable life and help get the daughter on the right track - he sounds sincere .
I sure hope that lindsay's dad see the good he has done for his daughter... Sometimes just being there will make a world of difference and its obvious that LiLo wants to be with and around her family...
I don't believe one thing this twit says. She's doing all of this rehabbing to get out of jail sentence for her DUI's, drugs, and everything else she does. She has two people to blame for her problems. HER MOTHER and HERSELF.

I think she needs to mature first, which no amount of rehab is gonna help with. She then needs to ditch her momy as a publicist and manager. Why is it that she needs a boyfriend all the time? This girl is only what 20 or 21, how many folks has she BEEN with already. Just sound like a lack of self esteem and maturity to me.
Pamigirl, maybe that is what she needs to focus on her self-esteem, the maturity just comes with time!! I think that is why it is a good thing to have her Dad around!
Poor Lindsey. I feel genuinely sorry for her because she hasn't had anyone in her life who TRULY had her best interests at heart. Her crazy parents basically see her as a meal ticket and way to be famous. I think she's a really talented actress, but she needs to get some real perspective on on what is right for her life. And I agree that it is WAY too early for relationships after rehab. She's probably just looking for someone who will love and support her b/c she hasn't really had much of that in her life up to this point. I hope she succeeds in her sobriety. Her pattern doesn't make me very hopeful.

Thank God she wasn't blaming her parents or anyone else for her actions. Hope she remains sober. It's way too early for relationships but who knows, he may be her guardian angel!
i hope that lindsay lohan can finally act like the women she is supposed to act like and not another bitney spears iam happy to know that she is trying to do her best becasue life is about making choices and it is up to her whether or not she can handle what life brings her way i also hope that her family can start by taking care fo her and also taking care of the issues that go allow in the family
I hope that's not all BULL on her part.
I hope she is sincere on getting her life back on the right path & not feeding the public a whole bunch of crap because that is simply the right thing to say.
Only time will tell.
We'll see what's more importantto her....drugs,drinking & sleeping around OR her career,staying sober, acting like an adult, taking responsibility for her life.
AND, it's great to have your parents back in your life for guidance & support but what it comes down to....your are responsible for your own actions...see your mistakes & learn from them & then don't repeat them !

Any good treatment program will tell you to avoid relationships for the first year of your recovery!! If she is serious about cleaning up her act she needs to focus on herself.

i hope she means it she gave that big magzine speach all about how she wasn't irresponsible enough to drink and drive like her buddies and then before the magazine was even out she'd already blown it. Good for her if she's really trying to get better, her dad has been trying to get his crap together for the last couple years working at a rehab center and basically gatting paid enough to eat. Unlike her mom, who is true trash. She could make it herself so she used her daughters talents for her own selfish needs, that work well for drew barrymores mom they don't speak anymore. There are many parallels here, crappy mom partying with kid denying a problem, kid gets better starts to realize.... I hope her dad does her service. And someone keeps her away from her toxic mom. Mom was trying to get more money out of dad for the other kids and is trying to pimp them out too. Then after buggin' for money tries to keep him from seeing them. She get's my award for crappy parent of the year! Dad is tryin to fix it.
Please, let's this be the good one. And for LiLo, I wish she go back to acting. She's soo good. One of my goals as an aspiring director is to have her in a film (my #1 goal is to have my films featured at Sundance Film Festival).
