Britney Spears to "Help Children Around the World"
I'm kidding -- I know there are. My friend D is the most passionate Britney fan still standing (besides the crazy YouTube guy), so I'm considering bidding on Britney's autographed album on Ebay. Brit has teamed up with paparazzi agency X-17 to auction off a signed copy of her new album, Blackout, and will donate proceeds to the children's rights group UNICEF.
“I think it’s important to give back and with the release of Blackout, this seemed like the perfect
opportunity to give the fans a chance to bid on something to help children everywhere,” Britney told her pals at X17.
As I write this, the last bid was $3,650.
On second thought, D, I think I'll just get you an "I Love Britney Spears" backpack. It's a lot cheaper and a hell of a lot funnier.
And by the way, who's auctioning off something to help Britney's kids?

I don't mind that she helps the children, I just hope she doesn't get fat like Sally Struthers.
With no investments in her income portfolio, and with her having to pay the X ..House buying and spending sprees. I sure wouldn't be donating too much.
No investments? She is at the top of the charts here and in other countries, she has I believe 4 fragrances out and sells merchandise on her website. She doesn't have a thing to worry about.
She hasn't even been a responsible mom to help her own children - puhleeeez. Actions speak louder than words. I will believe when I see it.

Uh...doesn't anyone remember that the courts just released her financial statement? Over $750,000 A MONTH and she donates no more than $50.00 of her own money. Nor does she save any.
I wish everybody would quit hating on Britney & give her a break. Nobodys perfect. She's a young mother & kids dont come w/ instructions. The only reason why every1 knows her every step is because she's famous & in the media. Not to mention her money grubbing, gold digging ex-husband. He's making up alot of stuff. And the way I see it their her kids, its her life & people should stay out of her business. The 1's who talk dont have a life of their own & are judgemental. I love Britney! She's way talented & I think she's a good mother. You do what you can I know she loves her kids. Even though I dont know her personally. I'd sit down & eat a bowl of gumbo w/ her anytime. And if she wants to go out & party every now & then let her. Every mother needs a break. Les a la bonte roule! And she should get her kids back NOW!!! I cant stand Kevin!
