Kanye West Thanks Fans for Their Concern Over Mom's Death
"Kanye West, his family and friends would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and kind words that have come in from across the country since the death of his mother, Dr. Donda West.After working in higher education for 31 years, Dr. Donda West and Kanye West co-founded the Kanye West Foundation with the mission of helping to combat the severe dropout problem in high schools across the country. The first and signature initiative of the Kanye West Foundation is Loop Dreams. Designed to capitalize on students existing interest in hip-hop, Loop Dreams challenges students to learn more about what's behind hip-hop culture in order to help them develop skills, express themselves creatively and be empowered.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dr. West's name to the Kanye West Foundation/Loop Dreams Teacher Training Institute. Those donations can be made by visiting the Foundation's Web site, www.KanyeWestFoundation.org or by mail at Kanye West Foundation, 8560 W. Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069."
Donda West's death is still being investigated, but reports say she died due to surgical complications during a cosmetic procedure. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

I total agree with reap with you sow : She was educated and knew of the high risk her friends reported told her NOT TO DO IT: The decisions that we make can really effect our tomorrow: I feel sorry for KANYE he needs he has lost his best friend and his manager he will be in my prayers. This was senseless death that didnt have to happen !!!! STUPID!!!!!
She knew of the health risks infact she went and got refused because of health; at that point she just found someone else to do the procedure. WELL she got her tummy tuck and a BOOB job ; and a casket to fit.

I never understand why some people can't just be supportive in a time like this. Regardless of what Donda knew, that is no reason to think that death is something that she looked for. With everything in life there are risks. I mean if you get on the road the same time that clubs close and there are drunk idiots out there, does that mean that you should not drive?

She made the choice to continue with a ELECTIVE COSMETIC surgery that she KNEW she wasn't healthy enough for! Which is NOT comprable to being on the roads with drunk drivers- people don't CHOOSE to be hit by a drunk driver but people CHOOSE to get PLASTIC SURGERY!
Be sensitive and keep ur opinions on how she died to urselves. The decent thing to do is to offer your condolences. If she nearly died and is still alive then we can berate her for her vanity but right now the decent thing to do is OFFER CONDOLENCES!!!!!
