Rumer Willis Named Miss Golden Globe

rumer willis named Miss Golden Globe
Don't adjust your screen -- you read the title correctly.

Rumer Willis, daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, has been named Miss Golden Globe 2008 by the Hollywood Foreign Press, which means she gets to be the trophy girl at next year's awards show. Interesting choice, though it follows in the tradition of the Globes, where the child of a celeb gets to hand out the gold. In previous years we've seen Jack Nicholson's daughter, Kevin Costner's girl, and whole slew of other celebrity spawn.

Rumer is so not a girly girl -- and those award givers are always very Barker's Beauties-ish, so I'm interested to see if she can pull it off.

Check it out for yourself on Jan. 13, when the Golden Globes air on NBC.

I like Rumer, but those hats are not flattering for her. If she grew her hair long, she would actually be quite beautiful.

shes got alot of work to get done on herself

rkg, I agree. How can two gorgeous parents make such an ugly child? Seriously.

She is not attractive at all. She has her father's big face and build and no amount of dieting will ever make her look better. However, I hope we do see more of her. I'm sick of the pretty-girl lollipop heads trolling around these days.

how sad that people feel she isn't "good enough" just because she isn't the typical Hollywood plastic-beauty!

I'm appalled that people are saying she is ugly! So, she isn't model beautiful...who cares! This is a person with feelings!

Rumer looks fine and I hope she doesn't have plastic surgery because of jerks who are superficial!

It's great to see Rumer dancing to the beat of her own drum and not getting in the traps of all the other child stars. The credit goes to Bruce and Demi for not making her live up to their expectations. I have a feeling she will stay grounded and do just fine.

um, when was she a "child star"

dr said:

She wasn't, but by all definition,s she is a famous person if you want to split hairs.

Well, so what, she's a homely child. She could actually be kinda cute if she tried a little bit and got that angry-looking scowl off of her face. Don't understand why she'd be presenting at any awards show, but hey, what do I know?
