Well done David and Posh (Victoria) Beckham. We being from the same part of the world, E. London will as long as we are living here have to put up with the non sympathetic people an ignorant views. Most are super and being that I too am in the Ent bizz of a professional film maker. Oh we can really tell the story as we see it. I have always said "ask and you shall recieve." If any of the above are that desperate then get away from your PC and start knocking on doors, indeed you will be pleasantly surprised at what lies behind those closed doors. Depression oh rubbish. Use your voices and say something, vent to the appropriate people yes the US governnment. Do your home work.
If it was not for the people in front of the camera and behind, musicians and sports pros, who would you choose to attack? I can say this as I am a proud British American.

I agree he is not all that, I think women are more attracted to how much money he is worth and how much money he makes, he is nice looking but not all that!!! and I did see him ignore the kids that he was suppose to talk and take pics with. The poor kids were crying, because they were promised to have the chance to meet and talk to him, they were all wearing his jerseys!! What a jerk!!

Well, JD and others. Hmmm. I tend to want to see all sides. Kinda reminds me of when John Bon Jovi gave a million-dollar check to Oprah, which was clearly received with "ooh's and ahh's" from the audience. Then I started thinking, well, how long has it taken them to give even this much?(Let alone, how much have they made over their careers up to this point?).But ultimately, I think a lot of what we do has to do with our intentions. Do you not agree?(Meaning, of course, that a truly "selfless" act is nearly impossible to achieve, but it is better to try than not). Anyone out there still alive after JD's lengthy blog, like myself? Please comment. And, yes, there are two sides to all things, y'all. It is everyone's job to cease self-centeredness. Do not cite one group of people alone; that is just being one-eyed. Yes, corporate greed is a global issue and a universal ill, but we are also part of it, if we have also been indulgent( and who hasn't? ) up til now.

Okay,JD. You'll get no arguments from me, as far as hedonistic lifestyles go, especially of those who make no compromises, either short- or long-term.
I feel to caution you, however, on the degree of your hatred. Do you work in the industry (entertainment), I wonder? If so, then you - more than any of us, deserve to vent. But I sense it is about to eat you alive, this contempt of yours. I am intermittently awed by, and nauseated from, artificial giving and donations. But allow me one more peck at our mutual gnawing-bone, if you will, before I desist at last, and retreat to my cave of moral weights and measures. I do believe many celebrities would, often, in and of themselves, not attempt any donations, were they not "put up to it", by their agents' whispers of "good PR", or other promises of making themselves appeal to our increasingly jaded public. However, I do believe there are some sincere folk among us, who try with gusto to make " a difference", and they should neither be canonized,nor castigated.
