Amy Winehouse & Kanye West Lead Grammy Nominations
The Grammy nominations were announced today and Kanye West and Amy Winehouse have both snagged multiple nods. Kanye, who's been grieving since the unexpected loss of his mom last month, earned eight nominations, including album of the year and rap album of the year for Graduation, while Amy, who's just been in a mess of trouble, earned six, including album of the year for Back to Black, song of the year and record of the year for "Rehab", and best new artist.
Battling Amy for record of the year are Beyoncé ("Irreplaceable"), Foo Fighters ("The Pretender"), Rihanna ("Umbrella") and Justin Timberlake ("What Goes Around Comes Around").
And just a quick shout out to my boy Chris Daughtry, whose band, Daughtry, earned four nominations!!!
The Grammys will air on Feb. 10 on CBS. Be there.

Amy Winehouse definetely deserves these nominations. She is extremely talented. I just hope her personal life works it outself out in her favor.
All she deserves is a kick up the butt & a place in rehab,,without the keys to leave.
I think i remembered reading not long ago about a drug induced concert where she sang 3 songs then left,,i wonder if her fans actually got there money reimbursed for her bullshit concert,
Stop taking peoples money fraudulenty,,get your ass off the streets (2am,blown apart & half naked) & clean up your act,,then we will see what you actually deserve!

Look Angelina Jolie's baby sis may win an award. Jolie should be so proud..

I never heard of Amy Winehouse until I saw a picture of her in a newspaper and she looked like someone who had escaped the snake pit of some mental hospital. Her hair looked as if it hadn't been combed in months and who knew what was living in there, her make-up was totally bizarre and I have never heard ONE song by her on any radio station!!! How can she be nominated for a Grammy? Whatever her problem is, she needs help, that much is obvious.
I see that some are saying talent equals righteous behaviour. In my opinion that isn't a fact. You can be brilliant and have all kinds of things wrong with you...if someone IS mentally ill...is it really righteous to make fun of illness? Even Kings, Queens can be mad...so what is the point?
As for her talent...I have never heard her. I think she looks rather interesting...and NO I don't look like that, am very conservative looking, don't do drugs, smoke, drink and am not insane...still I don't think I am superior for not being like Amy Winehouse...different is not BETTER, it's just different.
oh my god, i can't stand amy's hair... it's really gross... and her make up... oh but lets not talk about her voice...

I've never heard her voice...what does she sound like? I don't even know what her music would be classified as...*ya ya I know...grunge or something like a female Sid Vicious/Sex Pistols thing? I don't even know where I would find a "sample" of what she sounds like...*ya ya I know...
all u people need to get your heads out of your butts and broaden your horizons, with winehouse songs you have to listen to the lyrics to get the jist of what he talks about. just like every artist they use personal experiences for their crativity...who give a !@#$% about her drug use, its her life.
people... u should be broadening your knowledge instead of judging her character.amy is talented and she lives her life the way she wamts it period!
