this weekend i went shopping for a dress to wear to a wedding. I was depressed after a while realizing that i am bigger than i used to be. going from a size five to an eight was highly depressing. i went to my boyfriend's house and when he asked me what was wrong i told him. he laughed right in my face. i was so mad. then he said, "baby, you aren't anywhere near fat! seriously i've been trying to put weight on you for months." then he took me over to the mirror, (and after much wrestling) got me to stand there in my undies and said, "baby, look at your self. ok maybe you have the slightest showing of a pooch but that's it. i think your pooch is sexy, and i think you are beautiful. you should too." i was never affected by how i look compared to stars until recently. I feel like people expect me to be a size 2. and for my height (5'8) that's just downright unhealthy! so when stars like Jennifer come out and point out the ridiculous obsession we have with weight it makes me feel a little better. but i did go run

OMG. If she's fat, then the rest of America is a bunch of hippos. She looks great. It's too bad she had to address the negative comments in the first place, but I understand why she did. And we certainly all have days when we feel disgusting no matter how thin or voluptous we are.

Thank you Jennifer! First off, they keep changing sizes, second jr sizes are cut different (size 3 is a Jr size) a size 2 misses would be big on a size 3 teen. A size 2 is very small, a size 3 smaller i think everyone is sick of magazines promoting annorexia! That is why countries like Spain are banning stick thin models. There are a rare few who are tiny and tall but lets face it if you are 6' tall and weigh 100lbs you need to get real and get a burger, you are not fooling anyone! Kate Moss said for years she was just naturally thing then we find pictures of her doing coke....hmmmm.... can you say liar. I personally am 5'5" and i wear a 0, i work out i weigh more than 115lbs bwecause it is muscle and i don't have my ribs sticking out, I used to be 180lb and a size 12 so you can be small and healthy but i'll tell you what people are a lot less critical of me now and that is crap. As for her weight, I saw this pickture she really didn't look fat to me. The camera makes everone's flaws more noticable. you can weigh upto 130lbs and fit in to many brands size 2. 130 is a nice health weight othere that a bit o cellulite which even skinny people can have I tjought her ass looked good at least she has a woman's body and isn't some annorexic twig like half of hollywood.

Poor thing. People are giving her grief because she actually has a NORMAL body. My body looks just like her's (except I have less boobs). I am 23, 5'4, and 117 lbs. Yes, I have a couple dimples in the back of my legs just like she does and I have hips. I am I fat? No. Have I "packed on the pounds?" NO. I was born 3 motnhs early and weighed 3 lbs 2 oz. I have a normal body. The nurses had called my mom when I was 3 months old and told her if she wanted to see me she should come to the hospital because I had less than 8 hours to live. I lived. I am healthy now even though I wasn't then. People should be proud to be ALIVE and HEALTHY. Of course I wish I wouldn't have the dimples in the back of my thighs but what woman doesn't? My husand thinks I look great so what else matters? She looks wonderful! She doesn't look sick or starved like most of the celebs do. Same for Britney Spears. She has had 2 babies. I hope I look like that after 2 babies. People need to give us women a break.

Its funny how there "dimples" when we are younger,,but "celulite" when we are older,,,,my car has a few dipples from a recent hailstorm,,gives her character,,,

I agree that not everyone is meant to be the same size 2. Some do look better that way but its nice to see a normal looking celeb once and awhile.I saw the pics on tmz, she did let herself go a bit, but that is her and only her right to comment about. I wish her luck with her fiancee and that she keeps her self image as high as it should be.

way to go! all those pictures showed was a normal looking woman, it's great to hear her embracing her body and standing up for all the young (and maybe not so young) women who look to unrealistic celebrity/model/airbrushed photos for inspiration.

how is she being sensitive. did you look at the pictures? these were very unflattering pics taken and posted just for the purpose of being mean and trying to put someone down. she handled the situation very well. she remained calm and strong (at least in the public eye) and i for one say you go girl!

I love her show and while I noticed she is curvy she looks soooo fabulous...I had curves like that when I was younger when I was a size 6 but I still have an hourglass figure which my hubby loves...I am size 12 and proud of it!!!!!! GO LOVE!!!!
