A New Kids on the Block Comeback!
Seriously. It's happening. Really.
Break out your Hangin' Tough T-shirts people, because it is on! According to People.com, New Kids on the Block are reuniting. Their website, which had been shut down, is now up and running again, and an announcement about the former teen sensations' comeback is about to hit.
If you're too young to know about NKOTB (that's what they were called for short) -- they were HUGE. I'm talking Miley Cyrus/High School Musical huge. And I loved them. I had the posters and I videotaped all their award show and talk show performances, so I could watch them over and over again. And, of course, I went to their concert.
I'm not so sure how they'll do now, as the kids have become men, with the oldest member, Jonathan Knight, turning 40 this year, but I'm game. Bring it on, Jordan, Joey, Danny, Donnie & Jon -- I'm ready to sing.

Hey, that's cool! I loved these guys when I was a teenager. I had their sheets, watches, clothes, tapes, etc...! I used to stare at my Jordan Knight poster on the wall. Glad I wasn't the only one. I hope they can make a comeback!

I never got to go to a concert when I was younger...mom couldn't afford it. But man oh man...I loved me some New Kids on the Block! I am SOOOO SUPER excited they're coming back. I wonder if they'll record a new album?

Oh, I am SO excited! My room was "wallpapered" with New Kids. I wish I kept some of my old stuff. It will be interesting to hear what their sound will be now they are MEN. Can't wait!
WOW....A NKOTB comeback ?! Does this ever bring back memories !! After reading some of the comments, I had to leave my lil confession as well...My room was freakin' WALLPAPERED with my shrine of the guys' posters. I had group posters, and then around 5 or 6 individual posters. I kept Donnie on the bottom, so I could lay there and fall asleep gazing into his eyes....Kinda creepy right ?! lol I also had all the tapes and stuff, and would watch them religiously !! Man, Jon is turning 40 this yr...I feel so OLD all of a sudden !! lol I agree we need new pics of them, to see how they've all grown up. Our kids are never going to understand why we're spazzing out over these guys, and I can just see the horrified looks on their little faces...This is going to be fun !! LOL

OOH my god no way I loved the new kids on the block. I went to 3 concerts that they had. I went to the one they had in saratoga ny. that was so cool. But we will have to call them New Men On The Block. To this day I still lision to there tape while Im cleanning my house. My 13 teen year old like there songs too.

super excited about seeing my boys again. went to gosh 3 concerts when i was younger. also had a HUGE shrine to these guys. ugh. i had jordan on my door so i could stare at him while i was in bed. what a nerd. hmm, wonder if the hubby will like me hanging posters of them again?? haha. doubtful. i'll make my 12 year listen to them so she can put them on her wall. man i wish i would have kept all my records, tapes, then cds (yes i bought EVERYTHING they put out even the singles!!!!!!!)

I had a shrine in my room too! Jordan was my first love! The ceiling as well as the walls were covered-I went to 3 concerts and had all the merchandise-including the Hangin' Tough tour jacket-man i was so proud of that thing! I still have it and my husband makes fun of me to this day because I hung onto that. Not too long ago we were cleaning out our attic and we came across a box of magazines that i couldnt bear to get rid of. Ahhhh, memories...

I may just faint now. These guys were my life growing up, sad isn't it. I will honestly fly ANYWHERE they have this concert, and remorgage my house just to see them again to relive some of the best years of my life. People always say adolensence is so hard, well for me NKOTB made it the best.
I have always wanted to be a kid again, and for one night to actually be able to relive those years. It is worth it.
P.S. I just won't wear the neon and backcomb my bangs for the concert, you have to draw the line some where. :o)
I am so excited that New Kids are getting back together!! This is the best news ever! I was a huge fan growing up. I had all the dolls, buttons, pillow cases, and sleeping bags!! I cannot wait to see them again, their return is way overdue!!
I'm so excited about the reunion. I had posters of them on my wall instead of wallpaper. I had one wall devoted to Joe, one to Jordan, one to Donnie and Jon&Danny had to share one. Joe was my favorite-Please don't go girl was a classic. I remember going to their concert in Jackson Mississippi in 1990 when I was 12 years old. I would drive all day to see them in concert. So get ready everybody to pull out the tight roll pants, spandex shorts and the old NKOTB tshirts and hang tough because the New Kids invasion is about to begin.....
I am so excited. Ever since the rumor came out in January, I am obsessed with them, just like when I was 14 (I'm 32 now). I remember my room was covered with pics. I had the large individual posters on the ceiling (Jordan above my bed. hehe). Good times! I CANNOT WAIT for a concert. My husband has already said I can pay whatever to go as long as I don't talk about it at home. I guess putting up a Jordan poster on our bedroom ceiling is out. . Darn!
It's been almost two months. When are the members of New Kids on the Block going to make their announcement of their reunion? Are they going to have a press conference with a lot of media, like the band Van Halen did last fall? I saw them grow music wise as a group. From having Maurice Starr produce all their songs to when they co-produced and wrote a few numbers on their Step By Step album. They inspired the boy band trend of the late '90s when some people were getting too tired of alternative rock dominance during that decade. They made some very infectious pop from Hangin' Tough, to Step By Step to their many ballad hits. I hope that they do a tour and travel all over the world! And, possibly, a new album! No, I don't think they'll sing teeny pop like Cover Girl, but go toward more mature adult love themes in their new songs. I'm sure they'll have a sleeker look, but don't be surprised to see Donnie Wahlberg's bad boy image in that mix again! He might have a few more surprises for everybody!!!!
When is this Reunion going to happen they announced havent hear anything since January. Didnt get any wmail updates whats the story wonder if thier doing this Reunion at all?!
I could not believe it when I heard that NKOTB were comming back! I'm a bartender in a sports bar in T.O. So I did a little bit of butt kissing to my boss and asked him if I could take over our bar for one night to celebrate NKOTB's return. Just picture it.....

I am sooooo excited! I loved the New Kids On the Block as a kid! Is it me or have they gotten way hotter with age! I had their buttons, T-shirts, trading cards, bed sheets, night gowns, tapes, and videos of their concerts! I was so devastated as a kid that I never got to go to their concert, now I am definitely going to go to their reunion tour! I absolutely am a BIG fan! I feel like a kid all over again. I used to kiss their picture every night before I went to sleep! My favorite New Kid was Jordan Night! I love them all now though! Yay!!!

Go check out Donnie’s good friend Nasri. He was the reason they got back together. he wrote most of ther new songs. You can even hear his voice on the chorus of “summertime” and he sings the second half of “click click click”
