Angelina said she felt differently for her adopted children than she does for her bio child simply because they had such a terrible life before they were adopted. Shiloh was born into privilege and they weren't. That is all she was trying to say. Some people will just not give it up. I don't usually respond to these things, but some of you are making a reference to Angelina saying that she has different feelings for her biological child than she does for her adopted children. Well that is normal....any mother will tell you that not only is each child different, but you also love each one differently. You are also going to be more attached/emotional about your own - not that you will love them more, just differently. It is the same with adopted and step children. I hope this rumor is true, because both Brad and Angelina have shown that they are loving, caring, doting parents who are evidentally doing right by their children...look at their faces - happy!

They call them Brangelina because Angelina clings on to Brad. Every photo, interview, EVERYWHERE she's holding on to him like he might run away. She's most likely pregnant again to hold on to Brad. She knows he loves children. Both disgust me ever since the affair when filming together. Angelina was pregnant with Shiloh before Brad was divorced from Jennifer. Neither have class or good morals. I don't give a damn if she's pregnant or not. The children will turn out just like them.

I can only be a hypocrite if I don't practice what I preach. I've been married 35 years, a retired high school teacher, and very active in my community. I put in 20 years with the DC public schools when other teachers wouldn't work in such areas. I've seen first hand how our today's youth idolize these stars because they don't have any positive influence in their lives. Especially in the impoverished areas such as southeast, DC and areas of Baltimore, MD. There are children here in the United States that are in dire need of adoption. I have two children who were adopted through the District of Columbia 'Wednesday's Child' program. And I raised both and put them through college on a small salary. I do not have respect for trashy stars. You can live in a fantasy world. I live in reality.

Tracey, calm down. A lot of people try to post and their initial attempts fail. (This is my second attempt now.) I really doubt Tracy was targeting you. I am surprised that you would discuss AJ Lover being off-topic in her responding to the comments of others without mentioning Kaitlyn's spam.

Vicki, I appreciate that you didn't take Ang's statement out of context. There are a lot of people who a) hear that Shiloh was described as a blob and run with it without looking at the context, b) recharacterize Angelina's words (eg: by replacing "feel for" with "love", which are very different words), or c) make up what happened entirely. To your other point, I posted a timeline a while ago of the Jen-Brad-Ang deal, and I think it is very far from conclusive that Brad and Angelina did anything inappropriate before he and Jen had separated. I believe it went something like this:
early Jan. 04: Brad and Jen announce publicly their separation.
early March 05: Attempt at reconciliation between Brad and Jen. It didn't take. That same month, Jen files for divorce.
late May 05: The first pictures of Brad and Angelina together outside of work appear.

Bobbie, there are a couple of approaches one can take at looking at the world when things are not absolutely certain one way or the other. Case in point: I used to be steadfastly convinced that Angelina Jolie was a strange, attention-seeking marriage wrecker. Then I heard about all her charitable efforts and saw a few interviews, and thought, "It doesn't make sense that someone who I think is this way would be so grounded and interested in the plight of strangers." I did my research, found that the terrible things I had heard about her were unsubstantiated (homewrecker rumors), blown completely out of proportion (peck with brother), taken out of context (blob comment), were so long ago that I didn't feel it fair to judge her based upon them (the blood necklace and cutting thing), or were made up/assumed by people who couldn't possibly know if they were true (Brad smoking pot, nannies in the basement). Given the choice between the points of view, I'd rather think well of the Jolie-Pitts, a couple that has done so much for poverty, than condemn them and everything they do.

Now, Marie, what was trashy about that (or any other post of mine?) Seriously, I see at least as many foul statements from those who hate the Jolie-Pitts as those who appreciate them.

Aside from your last 2 dates, Donnie, I'm afraid that is not correct. Their separation was announced January 7, 2005. Their divorce was filed March 25, 2005 after an attempt at reconciliation.

It'd be nearly impossible for a divorce to conclude 5 weeks from the filing date, but think I see where the confusion arises.

In CA, there is a mandatory 6 month waiting period from the time of the filing of a petition for the dissolution of a marriage until eligible for a request for termination of marital status. Jennifer Aniston filed a petition on March 25, 2007. (When people "file for divorce", this is usually what they are referring to.) The request for termination came in late August in order for it to be docketed immediately upon the lapse of the 6 month waiting period in September.

Do you have a cite for the reconciliation part? My understanding is that that was speculation due to Brad and Jen being around one another (to finalize divorce details and do a pretty standard round of counseling for soon-to-be divorcees), but never evidenced.

This is so very sad. For those people who are so cruel to say these things about fellow human beings, I hope there is a God (your God that you worship falsely on Sundays).

Love is the greatest gift that one human can give to another. These two (Brad and Angie) are not just giving it to each other, or the children but to many in other countries that (I'm pretty sure) none of you are contributing to. How can some of you have such strong (especially hateful) feeling toward people you don't even know? You know what you see in the tabloids and on the news, you have NO idea what kind of parent's they are. What is reported in the new/tabloids may or may not be direct quotes, truly you do not know these people.
Yes, they have a LOT of money, yes, they work (don't a lot of moms and dads, yes, but they aren't in the tabloids/entertainment mags), and they can afford help, having help does NOT mean they hare "bad" parents or that someone else is raising their children. Get a grip, back to you do not KNOW these people.

Giving birth is a gift and adoption is a gift also, no matter where you adopt from - that is not your choice to make, a child in need is a child in need , no matter what their geography is.
