I am going to agree with "Blog Brat" and am sure I will get some static -- the average 16 year old teen would be "done for" unless she could rise above it -- the childhood forever gone -- but in this case -- there will be nannies , etc. but yet her life will be forever changed .

I am married but we choose not to bring children into the world . And if you had really read "Blog Brat's" comment - she says basically the same thing I do - her life will be forever changed .

I had to jump in too. Your life is not over if you get pregnant as a teen, but your teen years and partying years are over before they even begin. Yes why?, you will always have that kiddo to think about but some of us are more than happy to do so. I had my child at 22 and almost 10 years later, she is the light of my life. get over it people!! guess what? celebs also get pregnant, have sex, fart, burp and have cellulite too. And like us can take many different turns in their lives. I'm so tired of hearing about this. The main thing is stars have been living a life that is no example to anyone at any age. I ask, what difference does it make that a 16 years old unwed girl is pregnant when all these other stars who are older are having these kids without being married. A baby is a baby and the fact that she's not married and will be with another man I'm sure before the baby is 2 is the real tragedy of this situtation ( and that's giving her alot of leeway considering how long these hollywood relationships last)

What most fail to realize is this 16 yr old has made more money then most people 2xs her age with families. However her life isn't over...she will profit off this event! This is because everyone loves gossip and right now her and her sister are the center of attention. It sucks that so many kids look up to her as a role model! This is why it is important for parents to raise there kids and not let the TV, let them look up to u! Lead by example!

So what is she going to be in the tabloids continuously now just like her stupid sister? You would think she's the first 16 year old to get pregnant. i recently had another teenage birthday. she is about the same age as me. i don't get why people would want to do that. u r commited to ur child for the rest of their life. u can't just ditch them with ur parents. u r and should be their role model and their mom. i believe that u should wait to have sex after marriage.

She is not the first or last teenager to become pregnant. Give the mother to be a break. Yes she could have waited to bring a child into the world. I'm a sure she does not view her baby as a mistake and neither should anyone else!

I wish people would just give the poor girl a break. At least she isn't aborting this baby, at least she is taking responsibility for her actions! I had my oldest son when I was 17. I am now in college full time with two kids and I get along okay. It is rough without someone taking constant pictures of me so I can't imagine what it will be like for her. So long as she's not a horrible a mother as her sister, she has my support. Though, I don't think she should associate with kids shows anymore. While I hope she stays strong I don't think she should support teen pregnancy.

i think everyone shud just lay off her. firstly shes not a normal 16 year old is she. shes probably a lot more mature than the average 16 year old and i dont believe lynn will end up raising the kid. Im sure for Jamie Lyn to keep this child and seeing how sad poor poor britney has failed will be a motivation to her.
