Jake Gyllenhaal Mourns Heath in Private

jakeheath.jpgI was thinking about Jake Gyllenhaal yesterday and wondering why we hadn't heard anything about his reaction to Heath Ledger's death, considering the men has become best buddies on the set of Brokeback Mountain and Jake is Heath and Michelle Williams' daughter's godfather.

It seems Jake is working on a movie in New Mexico and is privately grieving for the loss of his pal. According to TMZ.com, while there were no immediate plans to shut down production on Jake's new film, Brothers, the set has been closed to all non-crew members, as Jake wants to avoid talking to the media right now.

Poor Jake.

I hope the media will honor his wishes. Everyone should be allowed to grieve in private.

This Godfather will have some amazing stories to tell Matilda when she gets older. I hope Jake is coping well with this loss of a great friend.

Amen. Sometimes friends can be closer than family. I respect him for not using this as a publicity vehicle for himself.

Jake, too, is a wonderful human being and will no doubt look after MATILDA (to celeb: stop with the "dot com" shit...it's old...and to Sharon Ose: It's Matilda not Miranda...get off the drugs already!)
At least we all agree on one thing - that Heath was a beautiful, caring, artistic, amazing person, and will be missed more than we can say...have a heart, y'all, and get your facts straight before you leave any messages here!

Jake is a wonderful man and I hope his wishes are carried through and he will be allowed to grieve as long as needed, what a tradgedy. I still can't believe its true.....been watching his movies all day and mouning the loss of a great and upcoming actor whos life was cut short at such a young age. I don't know if I will ever be able to forget this but time heals all wounds, my question is WHY? I love and miss you Heath! My regards and deepest sympathy to your family!

To Celeb...( or Lisa?)

Another cheap shot at promoting your pimp site ! Don't you pimps respect the dead...? This site is about loss and grieve and not an opportunity to promote your cheap dirty biz...I urge all HEATH and JAKE fans to boycott all these pimping sites and to stop others from using these blogs for their own gains and selfishness in trying to promote their business!

Instead of just deleteing a non-existing profile...you should just tell the "webmaster" to shut down your site and tell the 'ho's to stick to the sidewalk and gutters where they belong...!

Yep, I feel for Jake after the death of my fellow Aussie, Heath Ledger last week. They must have forged a tight bond in Brokeback Mountain, which will remain a great legacy to Heath's acting competence. Vale Heath...condolences to Jake and others who knew Heath Ledger.
