Not worth the 10 minutes or so that I wasted watching her strung out self.

I own (and LOVE) the cd Back to Black, but seriously...why is everyone acting like she gave such a great performance last night??? She looked scared and weak and I thought she was going to fall down at any second! I kept thinking someone must have helped her shoot up in the bathroom right before she came on stage.

I totally agree with Gee. I also LOVE her album but her performance was terrible. She's one that needs to just sit on a stool and sing. No movements necessary.

Hello, People! This was probably her first SOBER performance!!! Maybe she was actually a little nervous..still in rehab, denied a visa, missing her Blake! Give her a break! I thought she did great under the circumstances.

Carrie and Kanye should have won everything. I am sick that little druggie won she was so strung out . What a mess she is. Takl about rewarding Bad Behavior. WHAT IS THE WORLD COMMING TO!!! Nothing pure about her!! SHE DID NOT DESERVE TO WIN!!

Why should we give her a break. So what if it was her first sober performance. I don't see why we have to suffer having to see what a mess she is, when she chose that path!

To me she's even making a mockery out of it all, by singing "Rehab" in the first place. And to make money off if, just so she can smack it into her arm is an absolute joke!!

Goes to show how crap a performer she is, if she can't do another of her songs, where people will go "That's cool" She has to stick with the only song that most people know her by.

Smacked out trash!! Britney looks good compared to this one!!

Amy deserves to perform. Remember she was recognized by the industry and the Grammy's. She was nominated in 5 categories people! And she won 5 out of 6. Remember the Grammys is an award for the recording even speeches, NOT live performances. She wrote the songs in the album and they all made sense. She has a great voice. Remember that comment, "...she is surrounded by all these junkies..." We should bring her to the US and relieve her of the wrong frieds and give her her freedom! Go Amy!

Carlo, you mean she was nominated in 6 and won 5. That is a feat!!! I have and love her album, too. She is talented. She is just in an industry very vulnerable to indulgence. So without judgment the Grammy's did recognize her work. What a voice and in its recording. I think I agree with the experts she did a good job onstage -- everyone was so excited despite not getting a US visa to perform. The show had to drag her out of rehab just to get a glimpse of the Best New Artist to check out her Best Pop Vocal Performance this time live and to listen to her written Song of the Year. Wow! You are great Amy!

NO WAY! Amy Winehouse won!! she makes a mockery of drug abuse and gets a grammy!! I don't understand. I personally would have chosen Rihanna or Justin Timberlake, But Amy can't keep off the crack Winehouse??!!

I am so glad I found somewhere to blog about her. Ok.. let's start from the beginning.

1. Why does she sing about REFUSING to go to rehab.. when.. she IS in rehab?!?
2. She got shafted if that hair-do thing wasn't able to come off her head in one fluid motion.
3. Her legs are pretty gross looking.
4. Her tats are unattractive and manly... as is much more of her.
5. Her performance was sooo shaky and she acted like a drunk singing karaoke (which is a very good analogy of what was in fact occurring!)
6. Why does a Brit win our Grammy's? Was any other big winner foreign?? Nope!
7. Why did commercials and such make it SUCH a big deal about AMY WINEHOUSE? She wasn't very good.
8. Everyone else that was against her in various categories got SHAFTED!
9. When music boils down to a manly chick in rehab, the world is nearing it's end.
10. Don't forget to thank "Your Blake, Incarcerated!" haha.
