Amy Winehouse Denied Visa
Will Amy Winehouse be at the Grammys on Sunday? No, no, no. The rehabbed singer has been denied her U.S. Visa.
"Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago and although disappointed with the decision has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery," her rep said in a statement.
It's probably a good thing, since Amy seems to be doing well. If she were thrusted right back into the party scene, which I'm sure the Grammys will be, she could easily fall off the wagon. Especially if she wins -- you never know who might be smoking a crack pipe at the after-parties.

As for those who make these decisions, they make the US look petty and pathetic. Like there are no drug issues inside the US. Like she was a threat to the security of the United States of America. Like there was ANY reason other than political posturing.
The hypocrasy is beyond words. The talent of this generation and she's blocked at the borders like a terrorist. Shameful and embarressing.

I thought she attended the Grammys in the end? Or at least by a satellite link up for something like that. I really wish she would go back into a drug rehab, she keeps spending time in them but never enough before she leaves. I know it sounds mean but maybe she should be forced to, it’s the only way to save her before she overdoses.
I don’t think Amy is lucid enough to appreciate what winning an award means anymore. She shouldn’t be let into the US until she completes a drug rehab treatment and proves she can keep clean, otherwise she is promoting drug use to teenagers in the US as well as the UK. It’s such a shame, she was a really promising artist but has thrown it all away.
