Ashlee Simpson Gets a Ring From Pete Wentz
Ashlee Simpson is sporting some new, shiny bling on her ring finger, courtesy of beau Pete Wentz.
So, are they couple planning to tie the knot? Not just yet, but it sounds like they've definitely talked about it. Ash told Fuse TV's The Sauce that the new sparkler was a promise ring from Pete, and "It just means that he hasn't asked my Dad yet..."
Good luck with getting that go-ahead. Sources say that Joe Simpson isn't Pete's biggest fan, and the dad is known to be creepily particular about who his girls spend time with.
But this should put Joe's mind at ease for a minute -- Ashlee also announced to the world that, "No, I'm not pregnant."

"Yes", They do look "exactly" alike...I don't like him...There is just something about being with a man that wears more "make-up" than you do...It's "creepy"..

I think a promise ring is sweet IF both parties aren't ready for the actual engagement. Alot of women who are in serious relationships would find that offensive because it's kind of saying I'm not ready quite yet but I will be one day..BUT that could be a good thing if the girl feels the same.
Can you imagine the fight over the make up and panties.
Its just a promise not to get knocked up before the wedding.
i dont care bout no promise ring thing man. it is stupid. put better news on, not stupid crap like a promise ring. and they look so disgusting together. just sayin.
I think Pete and Ashlee make a good couple, and I am glad they have made a promise to each other with this promise ring. I'm sure Pete is scared to ask her dad, he seems too overbearing.
I guess it's beeter than the stars who get engaged only to say they don't even know the year the wedding will be.
