I gotta say, I agree with Meg. Not that I don't agree with some of what JD says, but this isn't the place for it. Personally, I come to read this stuff to take my mind off things like the economy, and all the rest of life's stress. If you really want to change people's minds/attitudes about such things, find something constructive to do. If you want to inform people, try hosting a seminar where people acctually WANT to hear what your saying, and will take you seriously.

Why not go on a legitimate news site and spew your venom. Brad and Angie have adopted those children because they wanted to improve the lives of those babies and because they wanted a family together. If it provides them with a tax write off, SO WHAT. They did not steal their combined wealth. They earned it. And they pay their proportionate share of taxes for that weatlth. Even the middle class itemize their taxes to keep as much of what they earned as possible. (And they did not have to steal the wood that someone else cut to warm they home either!! But my, aren't you industrious??) No matter what you say, even if 1/100th of you opinion is valid, you still have not saved one child a day of poverty or hunger, you have not used your name power or fame to better the situation of a third world country, you have not used your back muscles carrying lumber and swinging a hammer along with countless contributed dollars of your wealth to re-build New Orleans.
