Britney's Dad Remains In Control
After a court hearing yesterday, a judge ruled that Jamie Spears will remain in control of Britney Spears's estate, at least until Valentine's Day. Jamie went up against some new lawyer, Adam Streisand, who claimed he was hired by Britney.
Sam Lufti was also ordered to have absolutely no contact with the pop star -- no calls, emails, text messages, visits, etc -- even though he has ducked the restraining order. If you recall, that's Sam's way. He tried to run away from a subpoena last summer and wound up crashing a car.
In addition, a court-ordered physician will be examining Britney to evaluate how competent the singer is. His findings will be revealed on Feb. 13. Stay tuned for that!
