Grey's Anatomy's Eric Dane Fights Cancer

Grey's Anatomy's McSteamy, Eric Dane, has revealed to OK! magazine that he had been diagnosed with skin cancer last month, after noticing something not right with his lips.

“I went to my dermatologist,” the actor revealed. “He said it was malignant tissue caused by sun damage."

Eric underwent a procedure to remove the cancerous cells, by having them frozen off. He said that, because he has sensitive skin, his mouth was pretty messed up for a while. “I didn’t eat very well for a couple of weeks and lost a bunch of weight."

All the details on Eric's condition, and how the scare affected his relationship with wife, Rebecca Gayheart, are in OK!'s new issue.

Feel better, McSteamy!

Lisa if that site was so wonderful, you'd be married to a celebrity instead of posting on blogs any chance you get. You can't make money soliciting for these people. Get a real job honey. Besides woman, didn't you read the article, HE'S MARRIED.

I wish Eric a full and speedy recovery. I was diagnosed with skin cancer, as was two friends. It's a tough battle depending on the type of skin cancer. My prayers go out to him and his family in this fight.

Anyone who spends time in the sun needs to pay attention to any irregular moles. My dh just had one taken off his chest -- I tease him about his third nipple now.

Get Well Soon Eric!! Please everyone, "DO NOT" ignore ANY strange/weird/different/suspicious etc. Marks, Moles, Rashes, Irritations etc. of any kind on your Skin.
My Uncle (who is really like my Father) was just diagnosed with "Aggressive" Malignant Melanoma and things look rather "Bleak." I have no idea what is going to happen next!!!!!! :-(
