Kaplan argued against the gag order sought by Spears camp because making big bucks representing K-Fed is not enough, he wants fame. As we see in this and many articles Kaplan talked to the press despite the fact that the court was told this type of media coverage is not helping Britney get well. I would also say the judge is looking for fame. The kids will never be happy without their Mom and the court should have been doing what was in their best interest...and order the gag on this case. In any other custody battle no one would be following the daily ins and outs of the case....just this one. Many other celebs have divorced and had custody battles but we heard a little and not a daily coverage. In another article Kaplan praises Jamie Spears....that is a very bad sign and I hope Jamie is not being taken here too. K-Fed is the person that hired Sam to cut phone lines and hide chargers and do anything he could including drugging her without her knowledge to make her look like K-Fed was telling the truth when he falsly claimed that she was a cocaine or meth addict. (all random and hospital drug tests say she is not on these drugs and has been as clean as clean can be for some time) I hope Jamie or his lawyers see the facts and get both K-Fed and Sam put in jail. Birt may have PPD or bi-polar or schizophrenia but having to deal with a lying ex that is out to slander her and steal her money is only making things worse for her and the kids. It was a former employee that said when she was first introduced to Sam, he told her he was a hired spy for K-fed. She was not on Britney's payroll when she made that statement.

Daisy, a mother-child bond is not that easily broken. If she gets better and meets with her boys, i guess that bond might be strenghtened again.

The children won't forget Britney that quickly ore easily. I only see my grandchildren 3 to 4 times a year and they have never forgotten me, even when they were younger than Sean & Jayden. I bet when they finally do see her they will run into her arms.

I do not beleive that her kids are now forgetting about her. She sould be away from them. Its impossible for a child to forget about their birth mother. If you think about it, some mothers in jail see their kids at leats once in a while. If people are worried about the kids forgetting her, she needs to have pictures in their house of her so they wont forget who she is. The picture should be updated as she changes, so they will always know what their mother looks like. Its just like flash cards, once you see it often enough, you won’t forget it.

I think the picture idea may help them to remember her. After a while once she for sure gets the help she needs and there is drastic improvement. Possibly she can visit them again more and more often.

The "bond" can be made from supervised phone calls once there is improvement. Maybe this will motivate her to continue with treatment for as long as it takes and not just on and off!

I think she should be allowed to see them under supervision. But just on another note. Am I the only one who thinks putting kids on the cover of magazines is wrong? I don't think entertainment mags should be allowed to write stories about children of celebrities or even publish their photos without parental permission. The parents are the celebrities not the kids. These children are both under 3 years old and have already had their privacy invaded one to many times for me. They can't defend themselves against these stories so I think it's wrong. Are we becoming a society that doesn't protect minors from being taken advantage of? As a mom I think it's a frighting thought.

Hey Reed: Sam was hired by K-Fed to continue the manipulation of Britney while he drugged her without her knowledge. The biggest problem here is whether or not Jamie Spears sees through K-Fed and Kaplan or is led around by them.

Once she pulls herself together, gets therapy, and the help she needs, she'll be on the road to recovery. Then she can focus on being the good mom that she wants & needs to be. These boys are young and they'll bounce back & won't remember any of this. (Until later when they read about it or some school mates tease them about it.)

Anyway, I'm sure they'll be just fine. They're sweet little things. I would like them to get cute haircuts though. Yipes!

This is all very sad. I'm sure Britney is upset, but we have to think about what is best for the kids rather than what is best for Britney. If a family court judge thinks Britney needs to show herself as emotionally stable for a time before she is allowed to see her kids in-person, I don't think any of us is in a place to question that.

Britney Spears' first husband, Jason Allen Alexander, says that the troubled pop star doesn't really want custody of her own kids after all.

"She wants to see them, but she doesn't want to be a full-time mom," Alexander told In Touch Magazine in a recent interview. "She said it doesn't matter if she doesn't get them back full time, and that she can always have other kids later on."

Though he said that Spears confessed that she "misses" her kids, Alexander said that the singer would not be devastated if she permanently lost custody of her two toddlers to her other ex-husband. Kevin Federline currently has full custody of sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, and Britney has no visitation rights.

Alexander said the two childhood friends from Louisiana renewed their friendship after Spears made a call around Christmas last year.

wtf? - Why the hostility? And yes, as someone who has been involved in child advocacy law, I believe a judge would take into consideration the thoughts of Britney's co-workers and clients about her character and stability.

I have had some of the same types of problems in the past, I had ppd, lost my visitation and worked like heck to get my children back and I did and still have them. at first the youngest didn't remeber me, and it was very upsetting but I acted the same when I played with the youngest and she remembered a little song that I used to sing to her and then she warmed up to me again and relized this is mom. But it took a while. A little over a month is a long time to a child they forget it they don't talk to mom and see a face with he voice. It's a hard and embarrasing to go through, but most people don't know what is going on. I am back to the good mom I always was with out any ppd, infact just had another little one with my hubby and no ppd returned. I know if she loves her kids she will straigne up and do so quickly.

She should be allowed to see her kids maybe once every two weeks. But I think it’s best for them to be kept away from her until she can prove she is better. She needs to admit she needs help, get some addiction treatment and apologies to her fans and family for everything she keeps doing. In her current state she could hurt her children or put some very bad ideas into their head, such as shaving their heads or something.
